About this new clip of hers on pornhub, this is exactly the type of thing that I don't want to see happening to my favorite pornstars. I won't wish her to fail, but don't count on me to support this.

^ I am no lawyer but that sounds pretty illegal to me. I can not imagine any civilized country in the world where a dude can prevent another person from working wherever he wants. this contract would have no value, because no one can enter a court these days and basically say I own you.
She did a Twitch stream and I asked her. She said something like"Oh, Aspen.. yeah, I don't know if I am allowed to say but.. they won't release it, they have their reasons. I thought it was a great scene."
That actually does sound legit. It's all in the fine script of her contract. If it says something to that effect and she broke that rule somehow, then he may have a legal footing in withholding the scene. For that matter if Mia's co-star in the scene has done something similar, the problem might lie with them and Mia's caught in the middle.
For those that know more, how are videos for private sites or for direct sale from the pornstar treated in regards to the exclusive contract?
I read in another interview with a director/producer that scrapping filmed scenes happens all the time, for various reasons.
After getting flak for a weak Blacked scene some time ago (not with Mia), a Blacked spokesperson mentioned something about being a "Boutique Service" which should guarantee the quality of the product etc., so either they deemed it not good enough, or the reasons are of a different nature. Just thing about the falling out Keisha Grey had with the Elegant Angel management, when they barely mention her at all on the "Titwoman vs. Buttwoman vs. Slutwoman vs. Squirtwoman" title, where Keisha previously was featured as "Titwoman".
Also a very good point. I wonder though if in that case the actors are paid or if the scene gets filmed once again at a different date (when the actors, directors, studio etc are all available)
^ it is my understanding that the actors get paid regardless whether the scene gets a release or not. It's not that the actors get residuals anyway, a released scene or not it's indifferent for the actor (except for the publicity)
You'd think it's not indifferent for the whoever the boss is. I mean, if everyone involved gets paid and then the scene doesn't get released, no money comes in, just money going out for expenses. Doesn't feel very productive but it certainly beats selling subpar content that will bring bad reviews to the site(s)/company.

However with a g/g scene I don't see how that can work; 9 out of 10 usual porn positions feature oral sex! I'll agree with NotSoSubtle. Unless the scene is released and we watch the scene ourselves, we can't really know what is going on.
Speaking generally about Mia, she has a tendency to get emotional and speak without thinking. I think she is just lost and not sure what to make of herself. She probably does not want to become a full time pornstar but maybe someone like Mia khalifa who is famous for other things but also does porn on the side. Only she does not have the experience or market savvy to do it yet.

100% agree, however this has never been an issue for Lanksy because he has no shame on selling garbage if he needs to in order to recover his money. the man started with one site (Blacked on 2014) and now I think he has 6, right? and over all these years I've crossed some heavy stinkers on his sites, I mean whole scenes where the male performer couldn't have and erection at all. To me, a same-sex scene is a bit harder to be convincing (sex aside) because most of the usual positions include looking at someone's face. If you look at Mia's last scene and pause it when Stacy is riding the guy while Mia is touching her, Mia's face is completely closed down. Zero emotion whatsoever. She's really not into it. I browsed Stacy's work on pornhub and she's done other g/g scenes and in those scenes she does seem to be into her costars and the sex so either this was just a bad overall scene or the fault lies with Mia.
I think that's where personal/professional standards come in. A scene that is awesome for me, might be mindbogglingly boring for you or the opposite. And since all fans (or even the more casual viewers that don't bother coming here and talk about Mia/Mia's work) have different opinions about what is good or bad or boring, that was why I wonder if the issue is down to quality per studio/producing standards.
Of course something quite different could be going on. Mia may not be the best thing in porn since sliced bread, but she is beautiful, she is enthusiastic and is willing to try new things so, in theory, once her contract with Lansky ended you'd expect her to at least film once for a different producer instead of throwing tantrums and/or falling off the face of the earth with a number of scenes unreleased.
