Don't take this the wrong way, but what buildup? We're literally a handful of people here still wondering enough to come back and talk about Mia or her upcoming scenes. At this point, by the time the scenes do emerge, it'll be met with a "Mia who?" response, that may or may not give this thread one or two more pages and be done. Just look at the aftermath of her latest scene. The majority of the talk after it was if she had a band-aid or not! Compare it to her earlier scenes/response for them, and the difference is jarring!
The longer her scenes take to be released, the less impact they'll have and that's just sad...
I agree with you but then again I'm still trying to figure out what I clearly missed because I never understood what would justify the interest of so many people to literally create a 28 pages thread for a performer that has done less than a dozen videos.
^^^I understand everyone's tastes are different, but I think you only have to look at her for - ooh - five seconds, to realise why there was so much interest in her. She was, for my money, arguably the best looking woman to ever enter the industry. Now, you may think that's a little hyperbolic but objectively she is VERY good looking. People had high hopes for her, but sadly it wasn't to be, and now she's quit. Over time, assuming she stays retired, the interest will wane. But while she was, for too brief a time, active in the industry, there was always going to be massive interest in her.

Seriously, Mia is gorgeous and that's enough for most of us! In her scenes she was very natural, had palpable chemistry with most of her co-performers. The scenes were well set, had little-to-no weird posing and could be considered "real sex". As someone who is turned off by the obvious directing and the "I'm here for the paycheck" feel some scenes/actors give off, I certainly appreciate Mia's scenes so much more!

I haven't read that but considering most (of not all) those claims only appeared after her last scene was released, to me it really does seem like she's simply trying to stay relevant and up her future scenes' views and sales. All of that started just as her contract was about to end and her last two b/g/g and g/g scenes were filmed and held back. Like others said earlier Lansky's sites really suck at promoting scenes. As a result, all the hype needs to come from Mia and/or her costars. Those scenes alone, after all this time are almost certain to be dead in the water when they're released, for her. That is a bigger indicator in my eyes.
I'd put more faith in her claims if she actually backs them up by starting a lesbian relationship or actively start posting again. Simply claiming she's now a lesbian or that she's had "urges" in the past means nothing to me. Especially when she's oh-so-conveniently promoting her g/g scenes.
For the record, that's not a slam against Mia personally. It's a personal quirk of mine. When someone has something to gain out of suddenly promoting or claiming something, my instinct is to not believe them. Not until they actually stick with it or prove it.
I've been a Vixen subscriber and / or Blacked subscriber for several years. Cancelling today until the reasoning for the delay in release is provided and will consider renewing again upon release of the scenes.

Just got the feeling that her porn career was so sheltered and restricted that she ended up believing her own hype. I found it interesting that she said 'If you're going to do something you might as well be the best at it'. Not 'give it your best shot' or something similar but be 'best at it'. She also described hitting 'the top' in the industry as if she had nothing else to prove/achieve which, based on a handful of scenes for one producer is one big claim! My feeling is that the reason she got so much attention was her awesome looks and all the hype, not really the quality and range of her scenes. If she'd have given it time and got out of the 'Lansky bubble' she could well have developed into a top talent but that was never going to happen. The bit near the end where she reflects on her aspiration to get into mainstream modelling and the fact that having been in the porn industry is a negative with some people who potentially would hire her is interesting, if not a great shock to those of us who've been around a while! What happens if the modelling doesn't go where she wants? I wouldn't be shocked if she reappears sometime in the future......although I certainly won't be holding my breath! It's sad/disappointing that she didn't stick around longer and allow us to see her in a bigger range of scenes with different companies but.....on the other hand....it was great that someone so good looking performed for us at all so good luck to her.
My overall feeling is that, like someone else had said in the first few pages of this thread, Mia doesn't really set goals and was along for the ride/what she could get. Frankly, more power to her if she did!
She got hired (discovered even) by a big company and as a result her head got a little big, to the point that even though she had said she dreamed of working with other producers/companies, she either didn't pursuit it or her dream wasn't reciprocated. For all we know she didn't resign as much as Lansky didn't extend her contract. It's enough to burst anyone's bubble that maybe it was the Lansky name/weight behind her that made sell a lot, and not exactly her own efforts/beauty.

Dunno, Mia is officially of the most bipolar stars I've seen. In that video it sounds she's fine with porn, but some of her comments on Instagram and some of the comments she has liked in Instagram are kind of negative to porn. Well, one comment she liked was actually pretty damn hostile towards the industry. This also goes with her attitude on social media that seems like she liked to get into pointless discussions with other people, and also even got into some pretty heated discussions with Karla Kush and even Abella danger ended up insulting Mia because of a LGBT discussion (which makes it even weird considering she recently said she thinks she's Bi) I don't know, that even goes far to all her content. You know, she doesn't made an effort with some of her stuff like social media, only fans, YouTube etc. I don't judge her, but she's one of the most difficult stars to predict considering her history.
What kind of modelling does she aspire to do? Surely, she's way too curvy to be a fashion model? Personally, I think her body is absolute perfection, but fashion models are usually pressured to be very skinny and waif-like. I'd hate to see her lose loads of weight just because she wants to be a model. Although there are other kinds of modelling, but I assume she has fashion modelling in mind.

It's very likely she will return to the adult industry, in my opinion. In the adult industry she practically shot to the top of the industry instantaneously. In mainstream modeling that level of status is almost impossible to achieve even for the most beautiful women. In mainstream modeling there are tons of women as good looking or better than Mia and many of those women quit modeling for a variety of reasons before they get to make it to the top of the industry. Mainstream modeling is tougher than adult modeling., there's too much competition. Her twin sister has found no noticeable success in mainstream modeling because her face and body type fits a modeling industry that is not the top paying industry, less like Paris runway shows and more like Old Navy or Gap clothing catalogs. Mainstream acting is pretty much just as tough to succeed in. It is more likely than not that if she wants to have this level of attention again she will most likely return to the adult industry and that would not be a bad thing at all.
I mean no offense and also I'm not saying these things out of a desire to see her return to the adult industry although I obviously would like that to happen. It's just my opinion based on facts.

Besides, Mia said she's on college, so who knows, there's plenty of work outside porn and modelling industry that she could make money out of stuff like Instagram or social media if she decides to become an influencer. Besides a career on whatever she's studying.
I can definitely see that happening NotSoSubtle. Unless she really plans to focus on her college studies (I believe she was studying to become a vet?) and then stick with that as a career with some casual modeling on the side (or the occasional porn shoot), I don't think she'll stay away from porn.
For one thing, she rose to good fame with little to show for it (one or two scenes and she's quite famous? wow!), Lansky's got a number of sites so they could come to an agreement about what she likes to shoot (everyday shoots, interracial, rougher sex, anal, same-sex and so on) and if she wants to keep it part-time, I'm sure she can.
Also, let's be real. She doesn't quite know how to use her infamy/followers to bring them with her in different endeavours.
