If it says "This account doesn't exist" (as it does for Mia's twitter) there are three possibilities: It was deleted by the person who controlled it (usually the person him/herself but sometimes accounts are hacked), the person who controlled it renamed the account, or the account was deleted for inactivity by twitter which only happens after a very long time [Link]
