There is something weird about being named Vixen Angel, I mean whenever this happens or they work on a less way and maybe nothing (1/2 scenes in months and months) or they retire: Sophie Dee, Teanna Trump, Mia Malkova, Jada Stevens, Karlee Grey, Jessa Rhodes, Ivy Wolfe, Uma Jolie, Kendra Sunderland, Amia Miley, Eva Lovia, Lana Rhoades...
^ I mentioned this earlier (in some other thread probably), but in my opinion this whole "Vixen Angel" thing solely benefits the Vixen brand. The girls get some tacky lingerie (is this kind of sports bra even considered lingerie?) and that's basically it.
I'm not sure other companies (Evil Angel, Jules Jordan, ...) will hire them more once they have this "title" (assuming they are then out-of-contract). It's hardly something you could/would advertise, since it's a title given by a single company, not an industry-wide recognition like the AVN awards or the like.

Maybe I'm being nitpicky but "Yes I am done shooting" doesn't exactly sound final to me. She could easily mean "Yes I am done shooting... this/that scene currently and going on vacation" or something.
"no I am done with adult" does sound more final though but still there is no mention of the word "retire". I can see her taking an official break to focus on other projects and maybe come back later, if she so chooses.
In any event, more power to her. She came, got what she wanted (fame, money, to get porn off her list of things she'd like to do maybe) and is going out with her head high.
@afandina_10, she's been very casual about the whole porn thing and she definitely sells so if money gets tight or she wants to shoot again, I don't see why Lansky or another producer wouldn't hire her.

No, I don't have a twitter so I wasn't getting into her on anything. I did notice what she said on there through reddit and other outlets and regardless of her age or ignorance her comments are offensive. Not salty about anything other than wishing she had stayed in the industry longer and worked for people other than Lansky as she told people months ago she was looking forward to doing.
Maybe she did want to work for other companies but wasn't offered any work? Just because PersonA wants to work with PersonB, doesn't mean PersonB wants to work with PersonA.
Looking back, I think she was just maybe a bit too fast to say some things or she didn't word herself right. For instance, didn't she mention being flown out/flying to Europe to shoot scenes at some point but that didn't happen, yet. Maybe she simply expressed a wish and people repeated it so much, it ended up sounding like a promise/tease when she was in fact only voicing a wish she had. It's very easy for such things to get misquoted, after all.
^^ I mean, I know you do have Twitter since remember when you posted about the the Mia's custom video stuff where she answered some of our questions like "are you retiring" some months ago. You can go backwards a few pages on this same thread to refresh your mind, but casually the same post on her subreddit, here on Adult DVD talk, and the same complaints the same time on Twitter. Those (valid) complaints where she didn't made a custom video the way you wanted and didn't sent you a signed picture. No need to deny it crazyhawk.
Also, being salty for promises that she did not accomplished like working for other companies is nonsense to me. She doesn't owes anything to anyone. Well, it's a shame she's called it a day, but it's hardly surprising. She's been heading for the exit ever since she entered the business. It makes you wonder why she ever started shooting porn in the first place.
I've said it before and I'll say it again - she is one of the most naturally beautiful women to ever go into porn. The amazing all-American, girl-next-door looks and that unbelievable body was some combination. For my money, she was the BEST looking girl in the history of the business. I really feel she had the potential to be an all time great.

In my opinion, she literally had too much attention when she didn't even seem interested in porn at all tbh, for all the content we have of her out there, a 25-page thread is very exaggerated for a new girl and this is a 100% wasted resource, because not every girl who debuts in porn a day happens to have so much attraction with the general public, only very few cases.

Christmas lived up to the hype at least once or twice...
Sad to hear she is retired...but im not surprised, after all the tweets i read from her supporting Trump and Republicans.I think it was one of the reasons, not the only one of course. She just changed her profile name again on instagram. Someone asked if she was still shooting, and she replied never....and that it was the biggest mistake of her life. Brings to question the decisions taken by these girls at 18. One would advise that it's too young an age to go into porn. Most don't know the consequences of that act, and how it follows you for life. Hope she finds the peace she deserves. Hot bod and scenes though. Dare say the too beautiful for porn cliche appears to have a root in her story.
