Why not release some bts clips during these periods of downtime? or maybe some clips that were edited out of scenes? It might not interest everybody but it's better than nothing
I never understood why studios didn't publish some cutting floor footage as a way to release fresh content during the Covid shutdowns
I didn't comment on the quality of any scene or any model. You described a scene as "poor," then wondered why she hasn't been back. It seems more likely that women who had good scenes would be invited back.
I'm not sure why they can't update the websites. I know it said due to the vaccines but they are clearly shooting scenes. Is it the editors that have taken time off work?

it looks like at this point that a mass exodus of subscribers is the only thing that will make Mike and company treat their subscribers better. Mike is raking in the money nonstop. meanwhile we're not making him earn it.
I can't blame anyone for dropping subscriptions on the basis that they are not getting the product they expected, and there's a case to be made for reimbursement. What I'll push back on a bit in bold is about their treatment of subscribers. Things are fucked up and some of it is no one in particular's fault. Everyone is still improvising. That service has suffered is unfortunate, but not malicious or anything. I'd just extend a bit of grace and not take it personally.

I hate to be that guy, but paying for a membership without confirmation of new scenes actually being on the sites is a mistake on the buyer's part. Still, I am in no way defending them; I just canceled all of my memberships after finding out they did this again: They could not even be bothered to change the message explaining why there is yet ANOTHER DELAY, all they did was change the date from July 1 to 14... This just shows they obviously don't care at all about their paying members, so I will not be giving them a single penny. Rant over.

You're wrong, the buyer has no faults. The buyer subscribes because he reads that there are 6/7 updates per month.
If these updates are not there (whatever the reason) it must be refunded on request.

1) many of us are long time members that are reluctant to cancel because of favorites lists etc... AND 2) they took away the release date of all the updates so new subscribers would have no way of knowing when a particular update was posted

The reason for stopping new uploads is COVID related events in the back end developing team. You can read all the original messages:

i think i may do like another poster suggested one time and cancel all of my subscriptions and just rejoin once every 2 or 3 months if theyve built up a good number of new scenes. ill then just download all the scenes i want that i havent gotten already and then wait another 2 or 3 months to join again and do the same thing. at the rate that we're paying for memberships now and NOT getting new updates, thats really the only way i see to do it smartly from a financial standpoint.

I think that before we can all watch a scene, three steps need to be accomplished:
1. Shooting the scene. This step involves the camera guy, someone who gets the set ready (sets the couches, the decorations, towels, lube, umbrellas...), probably also a make-up artist and someone who helps with the wardrobe.
2. The scene is edited. This step involves someone who transforms the camera guy's work into a full scene for the site.
3. The scene is uploaded on the site. The sites are fully functional, new members can subscribe and we can watch the full library of scenes already uploaded on the sites.
Does any member on this forum have experience or knowledge in site development? Could someone please explain to me what tasks a back end developer is responsible for? I would like to understand how things work.
The front end developers determine how the website looks, right? Are the back end developers the ones responsible for the data that can be uploaded on a site and probably when they're absent no new data can be added to a site? Does anyone know how this works?
Maybe it's my fault and I'm am very ignorant about how things work but I thought that during COVID people who work in tech could work remotely from home. Does the back end development work with the servers and this is why their job can't be done remotely? Maybe the back end development team went into quarantine for the first two weeks of June because of an outbreak in their office but since the uploads haven't resumed yet, maybe someone responsible for the uploads had to take sick leave (without being able to work remotely from home)?
I saw in the countdowns yesterday that the order of updates was: AllAnal July1 Nympho July2 Swallowed July3 TrueAnal July4 AnalOnly July5 Maybe this will be the same order when updates resume July 14

one thing that irritates me so much is that while i understand that Covid has affected different studios in different ways, i find it hard to believe that Mike's sites have been affected so much more adversely than pretty much all the other porn studios have. i know of no other studio that usually regularly updates that has had anywhere near the amount of Covid related pauses on updates that Mike's sites have.

I also don't think that it's fair to compare the COVID stop in 2020 that stopped shooting altogether to be safe with the COVID stop in 2021 which involves the back end developing team. These are very different situations.

During the COVID 2020 stop at one point all sites shared scenes between each other's libraries. For example, if you were subscribed to Nympho you got access to scenes from TrueAnal. It was a time when the studio stopped shooting new scenes altogether and this was the right thing to do to keep everyone safe. They did have a plan during the 2020 stop, it was sharing scenes between the four sites (AnalOnly didn't exist yet).

I don't understand how this would work in practice. The subscription price includes access to new scenes plus access to the whole library of scenes on a site. If a new member wants to subscribe during the time when there are no new updates because he wants to have access to the library of scenes already uploaded, is he supposed to have access to it for free if everyone was refunded? The sites are fully functional and we can watch all the scenes already uploaded without problems. I really don't understand
I've worked with content and the nr 2 and 3 process (not porn). I did not have to have contact with anyone and the whole job was done through my PC at home. They are obviously on set shooting these things when you look at the pornstars social channels. The only explanation I find for this delay are either 1. The person/persons editing the scenes has taken time off work for covid reasons (vaccination process where sometimes it can really knock some people out right after the shot). 2. They are hoarding up a good amount of scenes to never kind of having to fall behind in a major way moving forward
I didn't renew my 3 month membership that expired this month just incase it takes longer.

Imagine these two situations: Imagine hypothetically that you subscribed to one of the five sites and paid on May 1st of this year 29,45 or 14,45 and then got billed again June 1st 29,45 or 14,45. On June 2nd the sites weren't able to upload new scenes for one month but you could watch the whole library already uploaded. The 29,45 or 14,45 monthly price includes the whole library plus new scenes. If the whole site would shut down then a refund is logical but the site is functional and you can watch all the scenes already uploaded. What percentage of the monthly price covers the costs of the new scenes and what percentage covers the library already uploaded?
Second hypothetical situation is that of a new member who got billed June 1st and he doesn't mind not having new scenes because he wants to watch the whole library already uploaded. If you get a total refund for your monthly fee for June is he supposed to have access for free just because there are no new scenes?
^In that case regular monthly subscriber (old) should get refund or extension and new joiner won't. Simple.

Who would fall under the category of an old subscriber? A member/username who bought at least one yearly subscription for 11,45 per month? A member/username who bought at least one six month subscription for 16,50 per month? A member/username who bought at least one three month subscription for 19,80 per month? A member/username who bought at least one monthly subscription for 14,45 or 29,45?
Would you consider all of them old subscribers?

how is it not fair to compare different studios working in the same industry? i understand not everybody operates the same, but we all live in the same world. thus, we're all affected by Covid in one way or another. if these other studios that have had minimal interruption of updates can do so "within reason", then why cant Mike's sites? on the flip side if Mike and his networks cant figure out a way to better serve their subscribers and give us the updates "as described" at the bottom of each page, then maybe we should all get a refund for their incompetence alone. i dont understand how some of you get on here and act as if youre in some way defending Mike and his studios' actions when WE ARE the ones not getting what we paid for. they could at least extend our subscriptions or something. so youre saying they cant give us the updates they committed to at the bottom of each page, but they can continue to take OUR MONEY out of our bank account? im sorry but thats not the way you do business and expect to keep happy customers.

At the moment, Mike's studio only has two people: him and Logan Long. I don't know how many people work with him behind the scenes to keep production going and to also maintain the website. Bigger studios with bigger budgets and more employees can be more flexible in unforseen circumstances. It's not fair to compare all studios in the industry as operating under equal conditions. In 2020 Mike's studio did absolutely the right thing by stopping shooting new scenes in order to be safe. If the sites would all of a sudden shut down and crash and were impossible to use I would agree that old and new subscribers would be confronted with an inexistent product. In this situation old and new members still continue to have access to the library of scenes already uploaded on the sites and this product is included in the price we paid for our membership. Nobody took our money, we chose to buy a product ourselves. I don't know how advertising and sales work in detail but I know that companies have the right to change fees at any moment without notice (it's written in the terms and conditions) and maybe this also applies to what's included in the product? That it's true that it is also allowed to change at any moment? I just don't know for sure if advertising can work this way or not

maybe Mike should have thought about the manpower he had before he decided to try to operate 5 sites simultaneously out of what looks like obvious greed. then maybe he could keep the sites he did have operating smoothly with new regular updates. Mike chose to keep adding new sites to the Adriano family of sites, and Mike chooses who is on his payroll. therefore, Mike is responsible for the successes and failures of his sites. ive said before and ill say again, i love Mike and Logan's scenes and love Mike's directing style best of any director, but the way he has treated his subscribers is despicable imo.

i knew it was a long shot but i decided to contact Epoch anyway. as i expected they said they cant give any refunds, and i would have to contact support for the particular site(s) in question about their lack of new updates. in other words Mike and company have gotten our money without giving us the product we paid for ONCE AGAIN! but no worries. after i finish this post im cancelling all of my Adriano subscriptions. ill only be an occasional subscriber and mass downloader from here on out. i just cant trust Mike or his sites anymore.

I'm thinking whoever made the post about a "two week delay to get vaccinated" had no idea how long it actually takes to get fully vaxed. If it's two shots, you have to find a time to schedule the first one, then wait two or three weeks for the second one, then two MORE WEEKS AFTER that you are "fully vaccinated". Major fuck up to not to this sooner, but it seems unlikely they care too much considering the lack of extending memberships. Too bad. If someone had symptoms they had to wait until they recovered or if someone was positive but without symptoms they also had to wait until they could get out of isolation. The second message informs us that on June 17 the whole team was already vaccinated. Maybe the person involved in editing or uploading the scenes on the sites had problems and couldn't even work remotely from home and had to take sick leave?

The only question I asked and what I didn't understand was how some members were talking about total refunds but forgot to mention that we still have access to the whole library of scenes. The membership price involves paying for new scenes as well as for the old library of scenes. This part of the website is still fully functional and current members and new members can use it. It's not fair to forget this part. The subscription doesn't just involve new scenes. I understand that new scenes aren't being uploaded but the whole library is still there and we can watch it. Last year when COVID stopped production altogether the sites shared scenes between each other. If you were subscribed to Nympho you got scenes from True Anal, for example. Maybe they will do this again this year? If the problem is the editing and the person involved needs more sick leave maybe the sites will share scenes again from each other's library. TrueAnal could get some scenes from AnalOnly and AllAnal and other combinations would also be possible

What you're saying is not true. The sites never said that they would start shooting July 14. They said that they will release new scenes July 14. If you check the Twitter pages of the sites you can see that they've been shooting new scenes. The delay does not apply to shooting new scenes but in uploading them on the sites. The first message that dates back to June 2 mentioned COVID events in the back end developing team.

If you're not a fan please move on and find something else that you want to watch. Since Mike launched his sites he never stopped releasing new updates. The updates were always delivered on time with exceptional delays that I can remember. COVID is also an exceptional situation. In 2020 everybody was learning what COVID was and his studio stopped shooting altogether and this was the right thing to do to be safe and prevent outbreaks. This time the studio is able to shoot scenes but isn't able to upload them on the sites because of COVID problems in the back end developing team.
