Its really fucking frustrating, its like seeing an amazing scene shot in the worst way possible, you miss all the good stuff. As well as being close all the fucking time, the camera is all over the place, its like being on a porn roller coaster. You literally cant see the girls at all or what is going on. For the POV stuff I’d understand but there was some great cowgirl and doggie style that would have blown me away with wider shots, but no, great shots wasted getting a close up of a pimple. This type of porn is the worst for me, it is so irritating because of the fact the scenes are very good, when your sitting there shouting “zoom the fuck out!!!” all the time its not fun. It’s a shame he doesn’t cater to people the don’t like close up stuff all the fucking time, AAS is like 4 hours long, you will have a major headache afterwards even if you like that close quarters stuff. Apologies for the rant on this but I was disappointed by the guy which is a shame as the trailers look good. I guess its all subjective but IMO I’m surprised Evil picked this up. Maybe he will do some wider shot stuff at some point? Cause his current style is so one dimensional, it almost doesn’t matter who the girls are cause you cant see anything. Exaggerate much, rski? More full body views wouldn't be a bad thing, but there were plenty of shots showing off the girl's bodies. Most had three girls in the same scene and you could see all their asses lined up together in the same shot! Most directors don't shoot like Adriano does yet here you guys are whining and practically demanding that he be like almost every other director out there. Relax, it's only porn.

^The close-up/P.O.V. thing seems to be his schtick. I'd guess that asking him not to do that, is basically asking him to be anybody but himself. As I've stated earlier in this thread, I really don't dig his style; He gets great talent working for him, and IMO doesn't do them justice AT ALL with his type of shooting from what looks like a millemetre's distance. All that being said, it's Evil Angel's choice to sign him based on his current output. They obviously feel he ticks this box in shooting (in contrast to say, Christoph Clark, whose style is very different, and whose work I adore). Therefore, I don't foresee any stylistic changes for Mr. Adriano coming at any point; it's what got him where he is.

I've shown both him and John Stagliano this thread. I've also recommended to Mike that he NOT participate on ADT unless he feels 100% comfortable dealing with people who are going to TELL him how to direct a movie instead of just giving their opinions. So far, in his dealings with Evil Angel, Mike has been very easy going, though. English isn't Mike's first language, and although the email exchanges I've had with him have been surprisingly fluent (he's only lived in the US for a few years), ADT takes some getting used to even for someone who is used to the intricacies of the language. Kristina Rose can post a cute little sign telling her haters to fuck off and die, and some people think it's adorable and hilarious. But if a male performer or especially a male director ended up being badgered and got defensive and did something like that, he'd most likely be called a spineless asshole. When I've watched his scenes, I've seen enough non-close up shots that I feel I still have a good sense of the actual girl who's in the scene (and believe me, I probably like seeming MORE full-body shots during the sex portions of a scene that the average viewer does). Maybe not as many as some directors, but what I'm reading from some of the posters here is so different from what I perceived, that I'm slightly confused. If I saw the same thing you did, I'd simply be saying "ok, you don't like his style. There's no problem with that. That's what reviews are for."
Mike is shooting some of the hottest porn around right now IMO. I will check out pretty much anything this guy releases. To each his own as far as his shooting style but I can't get enough of this guys product and I can't think of a guy to be more jealous of.

I've liked several scenes that Adriano has shot, he picks the right girls and shoots some good tease with lots of butt shots. I agree he should include more full body shots, but I think that could have been framed by some of the previous posters in a more constructive and respectful way. BTW Kristina's post rocks.
The movie American Anal Sluts was quite the time. Most should get a good 3 or 4 nights of fun out of it. All straight to the A. And lots of swapping back and forth. Poophole, mouth and back again. I liked the Amy Brooke and Mckenzee Miles match up most of all. I'm just going to think of them as the Olsen Twins from now on. I guess I don't get out much, but I'm still just so damned impressed that they did an all anal movie with 12 of the hottest hotties piled up 2 or 3 at a time. (Plus a bonus scene.) I'm not quite ambitious enough get a full review out, but I'm thinking 4 and a half stars which I believe is excellent. No, wait, ADT qualifies that level as exceptional. Either way. i totally agree i was never a fan of POV but Mike has put a different spin on it, i think he calls is POV+ which include more than your usual POV angles, he is definately doing some amazing stuff at the moment.
I also saw Anal Overdose and I only liked the tease scenes. Once the sex started it got pretty boring for me because all the too close-ups! Very frustrating not seeing the whole body of the girls. How hard is it too move away a few steps so you can get better angles?
