For me, I for one loved the new film style of Aidra's scene. In fact, some of the different, unfamiliar camera angles were just divine for me. They were different to the ones Claudio would shoot but they were just as fucking beautiful and brilliant. I loved being able to watch Aidra's face as her asshole was up in the air and getting eaten from behind, you get to really appreciate how gorgeous her body is and how sweet that bubble butt of hers is. Pre Claudio you would not have seen that kind of thing. I wasn't expecting it but having seen it from this viewpoint I really enjoyed it. Mike doesn't get on here because he doesn't have to. There is demand for his product regardless if we like the details of his scenes or not. Mikes new editing guy has posted on here and has taken on board the feedback regarding the fade issue inbetween cuts. If Mike chooses not to come on here then i think thats fine and is ultimately his choice. But i think Mike should make sure his new editing guy or maybe Laszlo visits this thread to keep on top of what the fans opinions are. You could say we have all been spoilt in the past with the quality that Mike has for so long been producing with Claudio. Mike is still my favorite director for EA but i,m sure even his most die hard fans have noticed a slight dip in quality in relation to the editing since he parted ways with Claudio. Mike is lucky to have a loyal fan base, and the only reason we express our opinions is because we want to carry on being fans. I would think it would be in Mikes interest to check this forum because it could prove to be an invaluable source of information for him. Most companies would spend a lot of money on market research to gather the opnions of their customers, we are basically offering that to mike for free on here.

Nope not me. If anything, the quality is improving by pushing the boat with new and freaky things that keep it original. I'm not a fan of recycling the same familiar formula because it's easy or because it sells. Mike's a guy always looking to change it up and make things a little more extreme every now and then and thats why he's one of my favourite directors .
Mike reads this thread, he told me so when we went over the feedback. As to why he never posted here, i'm not sure. I know he never gives interviews or goes to events/conventions. He doesn't think it's below him, but contrary to what some might think he's just surprisingly shy and introvert.
I have no real problem with the camera work, it's the editing. In Jillian's Top Notch Anal scene at 27:15 when she's pushing the gummy bears out, all of sudden it cuts. WHY? And then at 46:00 she's in doggy and suddenly cuts to laying sideways on the chair, exhausted. How did she get there? In Aidra's scene when he's eating her out there's sudden cuts to different positions at 5:45, 6:30 & 7:15. It completely ruins the flow. Now I'm worried about June releases, with 4 movies you know it's gonna be rushed. Quality over Quantity.

i dont think any of us are moaning about the quality of the actual content, what some of us are getting at is the continuity and flow of how the overall scene is edited. It looks rushed and like it has been put together too quickly when it jumps too quickly in between cuts and we find the girl suddenly in a different position in the blink of an eye. You will know that it was always edited in a way before so that it used a fade effect in between cuts and position changes so that the overall scene would flow a lot better. In terms of Mikes style and the camera work i agree the quality is still excellent, and the lighting and make up on the girls is all great. I have no problem with Mike mixing things up and i do like variety and new things. But you can't escape the fact that the editing requires some fine tuning so that all that great work of the actual content captured on film does not go to waste and be presented in a way that appears a little amateurish. So my actual feedback to Mike is keep up the good work in terms of what he is doing but just put apply the finishing touches to the editing. The fade effect inbetween cuts and position changes is an absolute must to maintain the overall quality and flow.
You´re not alone dude, im not really into that shit at all too. One time or another in one scene from time to time is ok because there´s people who actually like it but lately he´s been doing it alot in his scenes. He needs to do more anal pile driver and final cumshot while the girl is on pile drive position,(prime example of this is the great finish in the anal starlets 2 scene with Juelz Ventura). Mike's creativity is also the reason that I'm pretty sure he'll do just fine regardless of Claudio's departure.

And the wearing of the pants or underwear throughout the scene. C'mon man. At least he nixed the sweatbands a few years ago. That was just plain old goofy. It actually would be great if he mixed things up a bit. Back to the editing issue - his scenes from New Sensations/Digital Sin had the most professional editing. Clearly there was knowledge and time spent on these scenes in the post production. The editing in the new scenes from Anal Therapy and Top Notch Anal are akin to what his scenes at Bang Bros suffered from - sans The Spank Monster.

This is the same type of thing that happened in the Ella Nova scene. The action would be hot and as soon as I start enjoying it, it cuts to her looking at the camera or her in a different position. Happened multiple times. There have been countless Adriano scenes in the past that have some instances of "dirty" anal. I understand that maybe standards have risen and maybe they can't show that stuff that much anymore, but it's not like fans of his movies have never seen it before, so you won't be hearing us complain about it. Those abrupt cuts just ruin the fluidity of the scene, there has to be a way to transition more smoothly. Someone said they're now worried for the June movies, and I have to agree with that sentiment. Bad editing can seriously turn a great scene into an average one, and with so many great girls lined up in the June releases, I'm seriously worried that the editing will ruin those scenes for me. Garrett, I'm glad you're here on the forum and interacting with us. I think the majority of us are complaining about the same thing in terms of the abrupt cuts in the middle of the action, so please just take what we're saying into consideration for the future. I personally am not fazed either way when it comes to the cutting or the fading for me but that's probably because I'm a permanently horny bastard and there are relatively few things that can fail to turn me on . That said, I think it's cool that a representative of Mikes is coming here to guage our opinions. For those of you who would prefer a change in the editing style, I hope some consideration comes your way.

Yeah, not to pile on here, but I was actually looking forward to "Top Notch Anal", I think the cast is damn near perfect, but through three scenes, it's really disappointing. I completely agree with others that it's just way too over-edited. There's jarring cuts every one or two minutes. There's no rhythm or flow to these scenes at all.
Thank you too for the regular posts Sir.Garrett and most of all your involvement within this thread is much appreciated. It's high time the fans on here got interact with someone who is at the production end. The wait has been overdue and hearing that Mike gets to read some of the requests/comments is very comforting, despite some of the -ve criticism.
