Recently, I came across an article in the Miami New Times called 'The New Pornographer', written in Feb 2006 (http://www.miaminewtimes.com/2006-02-16/news/the-new-pornographer/). The article is mainly about Mikey Butders and his early career. A couple of things in the article really got my attention, as (to me) they are pretty hot. First, the author described a situation in early 2004 (in South Beach) where a guy answered an ad with his Puerto Rican girlfriend to shoot a scene, but the guy ended up being unable to perform. Instead, Butders was called in by the cameraman as a last minute replacement, and he shot the scene with the girl while her boyfriend waited in the living room. Does anyone know where that scene can be found? For any directors/producers out there - does that kind of situation happen often? What kind of pressure (if any) is placed on the couple to consent to that change of plan? Also, Mikey talked about his very first scene. I'd love to know what that is (the career filmography tells me the order of release, rather than the order in which his scenes were shot, so I don't know the answer to this for sure). I'd be grateful for any insight that you all may have! [Link] |
