There are many reasons other than those guessed here, for example if you see lots of money coming and you think it'll continue for awhile , you may spend it accordingly , but when work opportunities begun to drop or when for some reason you can't continue (BF issues, Family Issues , Health Issues , personal breakdown , you name it) and your expenses are equally at an high rate you may find yourself out of money in a very short time without noticing. You have a BF who is addicted to something , he sucks up all your money to feed his habit and you find yourself out of money because of him. You invested your money in a bad trade or investment and you lost it. Also even though we see lots of scenes around they might have been filmed long ago (such as that for Blacked with Keisha Grey who was months old) it's not clear how much she was working lately , for either less opportunities or personal issues or both. We know nothing and apparently she doesn't want to talk about this.

Actually Gorin, I kind of miss your photoshops of Mischa and most especially the reviews and comments about art and pornography.

She is retired, and I don't know anything about her since the day she abandoned the porn biz. I think she moved with her boyfriend and she has nothing to do with porn now

I have come to a realization that Mischa was totally not happy being in the porn industry. She might have been extremely unhappy and was ready to look for some normalcy in Colorado and starting a new life with her husband who is a youth minister. She is probably active in the church in Colorado. I don't know anything. Just my observation.
I just wanted to add something on here. Ever since Mischa Brooks retired from the business nearly three years ago. She has not gotten rid of her Instagram page, her Twitter page, or her Facebook page. She does not go on social media anymore. When most people leave the industry they delete their social media pages.

^ 2 1/2 years is not the shortest, but it's definitely more short than long compared to a sustained successful porn career. 2012 was basically her first full year in the industry, and she announced her retirement in April 2014, so that's not even close to 3 full years. It's amazing how her Twitter is still up, but it hasn't been active in over 4 years now. Abella Danger & Megan Rain weren't in the industry yet when Mischa announced her retirement. Time flies.
I wish that there was a where are they now series for former adult actresses. Mischa Brooks, Rilynn Rae, Kaylynn, Holly Hollywood and plenty of others who are no longer int the industry could be interviewed. Just saying. I know it will never happen.
Speaking just for myself, I'm ok with shifting my attention to current starlets. Those whom still wish to maintain contact with their fan bases, can and do maintain a social media presence. For the rest, I'm ok with enjoying their performances, when they performed, and keeping the more personal aspect of their lives, well, personal.
