| greybeard Member 181 Posts 8/00 |  Posted - Feb 14 2001 : 6:18AMSince they've now been released by VCA (famous for cutting stuff they're scared of), and have been reviewed here (thanks, andyblake!), it's time for someone (andyblake?) to please let everyone know everything that's been cut from the original versions for the new DVDs. I'm lucky enough to have some _old_ VHS copies which I believe to contain the complete, "as released," versions of the films. They're watchable, but I'm sure the DVD video quality is better -- unless, of course, whole hunks of the films are missing! andyblake mentions that the bondage scene with Constance Money in Barbara Broadcast has been trimmed, but not cut sompletely. He also mentions the C.J. Laing/Wade Nichols anal scene -- but(t), what about the short scene that immediately precedes it, where C.J. teases him by relieving herself into a large wok?? Any help, hopefully a "blow-by blow" listing of what's there and what isn't, would sure be appreciated! [Link] |

If you (or anyone) is interested, why not loan me a "review" copy of each title (I'll return them!), I'll sync them up and run them simultaneously (picture-in-picture) against my VHSs, and report to the forum in detail on any differences. I'll probably wind up buying both titles anyway, but at least I'll know what I'm getting, and everyone else will know what they're not! The Wanderer  All-Star Member 192 Posts 6/00 | Posted - Feb 18 2001 : 4:46PM As I said at the time, I was unable to compare my tape directly with an uncensored copy but the two most obvious cuts were in the 'Jamaican cigar' sequence (where all the dialogue was still intact but the stewardess isn't shown inserting the cigar into her pussy) and the strap-on scene near the end of the film where no penetration was shown (only softcore footage). Saki - I read your review of the DVD version. Can you confirm that the stewardess is shown 'hiding' the cigar because the dialogue makes no sense without the inclusion of this shot?

Anyhoo, while I don't have the _laserdisc_ edtition of either film, I _do_ have VHS versions that date from (I believe) the original releases of the films. Once I get hold of the DVDs, I'll go ahead and do comparisons, then report to the forum. FYI, I just did that sort of comparison a few weeks ago with my old VHS and the new DVD of Alex de Renzy's "Ball Busters" -- everything's still there! [Link] |
