Through sampling a wide variety of porn I've come to believe that if I'm searching for a particular type of fetish act--say, a niche like g/g anilingus or double anal penetration--not only will the act be rarely performed and therefore hard to find on film, but it will most likely be performed by the same select few, only on different occasions.

My theory is that when an amateur performer first comes into the business, they're either nervous or not confident enough to branch out and be more extreme. It's only through repeat performances that these people build up the confidence to do these things (generally speaking).

With the exception of a few firecrackers and/or crack whores, I think it's fair to say that most girls entering the business or doing a one off scene would not be doing anything too extreme.

If there are only a minority of people performing these niche acts, then you'll most likely see them over and over again.

Does this sound about right?

It sounds okay in my head, but I thought I'd throw it out there for discussion.

Are niche acts in porn mainly performed by the same, seasoned talent? Does this notion bother you or not?
