Which pornstars are the most annoyingly overacting ones in your opinion?
I have to give a shared first place to Adriana Chechik and Kenzie Reeves which is sad because they're two of my absolute favorites, but many of their scenes are unwatchable just because their reactions and emotions are so exaggerated and ridiculously over-the-top. All pornstars exaggerate and fake of course, but while most of them are at like a 5 out of 10, Adriana and Kenzie are at a 12. Everything causes them to have this big eyed, open mouthed, surprised look on their face. Adriana Chechik has done like 500 anal scenes and still she gets this surprised look on her face like it's the first time she gets a dick in her ass almost every time. If they just dialed it down a bit then their stuff would be top notch.
I must say that it is the 'performance' of Adriana Chechik that makes her somewhere near the top of my list of favourite performers. And some people are naturally OTT so how do you know for certain that it is 'fake'? And even if it is, the performance would be based on or an exageration of something inside of them or how they imagine they would be like in certain scenarios.
It's difficult to add something to this discussion seeing as the OP felt the need to accuse two top performers of being over the top in most of their videos thereby implying that he has seen what amounts to over 1500 videos. He would have been better served in simply stating that he is tired of seeing so many performers be over the top in too many of their videos. In that I would agree but is it really the fault of the performer or is it the fault of the producer who is telling them this is what he or she wants. I love a lot of what Mason has done over the years but subtlety is rarely what she expects from her performers and is the one thing that often makes me dislike the final product. I certainly can't blame the performers because they don't feel the need to be over the top with other producers but they certainly are in a Mason videos.
I think it's also because of what sites and directors require.
I mean, look at the scenes at Brazzers where everybody, both men and women has to make those absolutely exaggerated expressions of surprise or pleasure like "I have never seen/experienced a penis/vagina before, I cannot believe what I'm seeing/experiencing, oh my goooooooooooooood". So if the directors of those successful sites tell them that's the way porn has to be done, it's not surprising to see bad acting that is so over the top.

Nobody is naturally over the top. All the loud carrying on is people imitating what they have seen in porn, usually because they think that's what they are supposed to do (because of porn) and also often simply to encourage the guy.It is definitely on the producers by extension, mainly the fans. Dudes want to imagine themselves as the guy making the women scream oh so loud from how overwhelmed they are. So the producers tell them to moan more and cum harder lol
This is an annoying subject on my end because these dumb, manufactured performances bleed over into the GG content. Then I ask myself, "the ladies aren't even touching each other right now so why are they gyrating like that and genuinely acting dumb and cartoonish?" The answer is the requirements of low-quality BG content that becomes habitual.
As for the specific performers OP mentioned...yeah I can't watch them these days. Adriana did have some good GG scenes back in the day for WeLiveTogether before the dumb kinda overran that genre.
Would put Gia Derza and ivy wolfe, Adriana chechik (always creating the spit bubbles) on very top of this list, most people really believe they have a genuine orgasm in every scene If the intensity of the scene doesn't match with their 'reaction' the more it turns off
I definitely disagree that Adriana is overacting. She has been on the record of saying she never does things that she genuinely dont want to do. She literally has put her body on the line to make the best content every single time. So I cant agree that she overacts. Its funny how people mistake genuinely enjoying something as overacting. And I wont even entertain Adriana being annoying. She is on another level in terms of the best performers of all-time. We know there are levels to this and again Adriana is on another level.
If I had to say someone who overacts its very very easy. Its Darcie Dolce. I KNOW she really isnt into her G/G scenes. Many performers have spoken out about how awful she is in her G/G scenes.
I agree with Gia Derza. I was a big fan of her earlier scenes, especially the first handful of DP's she did (the second black in white scene she did was fantastic) however I can't stand her DP scenes now.
Her recent BoB scene would have been perfect if she actually sounded like she was having sex and building up to an orgasm. Instead you get this grating blowjob sound and redundant yelling that just does not sound sexy at all; really sucks cause she looks fucking amazing in that scene.
I think it also depends on the scene. I've seen Adriana tone it down in many scenes, but most of the time she's in gangbangs or intense gaping or squirting scenes where I need her banshee energy.
My only annoyance with some performers is that eye-rolling or cross-eyed thing. I'm not going to name any particular performers as I can see this thread quickly turning into a 'what performers do you hate?' thread.
I always hated the guys who always over-reacted and over-acted the cum shot with yelling and screaming. I forget his name but the "dropping loads" guy got on my nerves after awhile.

Brazzers is these days like a supermarket, discounter, daily shooting and daily dropping out scenes, so their stuff is always the same and so the girls and guys are acting. I would prefer to watch other stuff. And the plot, the lines the performer are saying are the same too, even having a script. I kind of agree. I thought the forum etiquette was if you don't like or no longer like something about a performer, you just don't watch them; not come here and complain about them.
