This is the 3rd Vivid DVD in a row where I've been unable to switch off the multi-angles indicator during the scenes. I've tried the "off" function then main menu, I've tried "off" function then resume play, I've tried play then menu then "off" then resume, I've even tried to switch it ON to see if there wasn't an authoring mistake, but no, it won't disappear.
In "So I married a Pornstar" & "Loveless" , it's not that obtrusive in that it just pops up for 5 seconds at the beginning of the multi-angles sequence then disappears, but in "The 8th Sin" this big watermarked icon stays on during the whole scene ! Has anybody experienced similar problems with recent Vivid releases ? I didn't have a problem with "Taya's Tales" though, and have yet to check "Implode" . My enjoyment of "The 8th Sin" is totally spoilt by this obtrusive icon

are you playing this on a CD-ROM or a stand DVD player?

On a standard DVD player. But I tried on my XP and it won't switch off either. There are no solutions I guess, but I still wanted to bitch. I never use the multi-angles anyway, so I'm a bit angry.

Vivid actually uses the subtitle function of the DVD players to display the "multi-angle" icon. So, if the menu option won't turn it off, try turning off subtitles using the subtitle button on your remote.

It's possible that Vivid has this button disabled on its DVD's so it may not work. But that's the only solution that I can think of.
