I thought this was interesting as to why men often get sleepy after sex. But it doesn't explain the difference in sex and masterbation. Why do guys get sleepy after sex? From the same Wiki article you quoted... "After ejaculation, a refractory period usually occurs, during which a man cannot achieve another orgasm. This can last anywhere from less than a minute to several hours, depending on age and other individual factors." Maybe the difference for you is that for some reason you have a very short refractory time when masterbating than you do when you're with a partner???
I have had multiple orgasms, meaning one right after another one several times in my life. It is not something that I can feel when it is going to happen. I will have an orgasm and then a few seconds after the orgasm is done I will start having a second orgasm. I will say that it is an outstanding feeling when it does occur.
I can easily rub out another one within one minute of the one before. When I was a teenager I made it to ten a few times (within a 10-15 minute period), and easily five or six. For what its worth, I've never felt the sleepiness that people talk about. I've never experienced one orgasm following another instantly like many women and some men claim to. I need close to a minute to jerk myself to another one, or at minimum 30-40 secs.

wow if this is true your even more "orgasmic" than me. i usually need more like 2-3 minutes to cum again and the most i ever did in a 15 minute period was probably 5 or 6 at most.
Probably more "were" than "are". After 30 I've noticed things require a bit more effort and I don't try as often. But the 2nd one is still quick and easy when masturbating, more than that really depends which it didn't before. I never understood the thing about ejaculations without orgasm, or orgasm without ejaculation. They've always been connected for me, even when there were only a few small drops left.
