I've finally got the majority of my pictures from Exxxotica processed and uploaded. Seems like it took longer this year for some reason. You can view them here.
Anyway, I attended only on Saturday, but I got my fill in the many hours that I was there. The show seemed a little bigger than last year, and was just as loud and sense numbing as last year with multiple sources of music blaring. The crowd was thick, but not shoulder to shoulder in very many areas.
This year they had a new ticket called a VIP, which entitled you to several "perks": A bag with some stuff in it, access to the VIP room with strippers and alcohol (for sale), and "priority access" to the seminars and meet and greets. Regular tickets were $35 (per day) while VIP were $50. So I opted for the VIP and was rather disappointed. The bag of "XXX Swag" was mostly ads and trial memberships to sites. There was a pen in there too. The VIP room was ok, but I was there for the porn stars, not to sit around drinking. The real reason I bought the VIP ticket was so I could get "priority" in line to meet the stars. I guess they decided against that at the last moment, as I stood in line with everyone else. It's no big deal, and the lines were only 30 to 45 minutes long, but I felt a little ripped off. Anyway, on to the good stuff:
I got to photograph and talk to nearly everyone that I was hoping to see, which was a huge bonus: Jenna Haze, Nautica Thorne, Bree Olson, Lela Star, Sasha Grey, etc. The only no show that disappointed me was Courtney Cummz. Lexi Love said that Courtney had gotten very sick right before the show and had to cancel. Lexi was going to share a booth with her, but ended up doing it solo. Lexi was really, really warm and friendly. She came around the booth to shake hands with every single fan that came over, which amazed me. I should have spent longer taking pictures of her. :)
Jenna Haze was also incredibly friendly just like last year. She told me that she really appreciates the fans and credits them with some of her success, so she tries to be good to them. I'm paraphrasing here. I got a couple of great shots of Jenna. She is SO photogenic and I always forget how petite she is. Noahped (is that your real name?) was working the booth with her and told me about his photoshoot with her on Miami beach. I'm still jealous. Nice job on those pictures BTW.
Bree Olson was also really trying hard I could tell. She asked the guy in line in front of me where he was from, how far away it was, etc, to try to draw him out, as it was obvious that he was really nervous talking to her. I thought that was really nice. When my camera battery died while trying to take a second shot of her, she said, "Come back when you get it working, and cut in line. I give you permission." Very cute. Luckily the one picture I got came out well.
Nautica Thorne was SUPER talkative and I mean that in a positive way. The college guys ahead of me were heaping praise on her and asking her tons of questions, and she just went with it. Eventually she told them that she really liked Jewish guys (they were) and that her last few boyfriends were Jewish. Then she added, leaning over, "Jewish guys all seem to have thick cocks; not big, but thick, and I like that." Then she beamed that smile. A nice little moment.
I hadn't heard of Kayden Kross before the show; she was at the same table/booth as Bree. Damn is that girl hot in person! Her body is incredible. My shots of her really don't do her justice. Just like Lela Star, I don't seem to be able to capture just how beautiful these girls are in a convention center setting.
I was very happily surprised to see Paola Ray working the Cezar Capone booth along with Ruby Knox, and Lela Star at various times. Paola was also very warm and friendly. She's a lot taller than I thought. Speaking of tall, April Rain was walking around with some dude with HUGE muscles; perhaps her boyfriend. I had no idea how tall April was. In her big heels she was a good 3 or 4 inches taller than him, and probably an inch or two taller than me.
Also walking around, I saw Brianna Love, who said she was working the car show next door and was just looking around. It was very nice of her to agree to pose for a couple of photos for me. She's another one who's just stunning in person. She, or her stylist did a great job on her makeup. It helps when you have such beauty to start with.
Madison Scott was there with a couple of guys. Sadly I wasn't able to approach her and get any pictures. She looked good, as you'd expect. ...and boy is she tiny! :)
There were even more strippers than last year, posing on couches, swinging on a giant swing, walking around, dancing on poles in the VIP room (clothed), and working a few booths. One blonde who I think works at the Crazy Horse had an incredible body and a really pretty face. I got a few (bad) shots of her.
As I said in her thread, Roxy Deville probably wins the award for prettiest girl at the show. I keep using the word stunning, but she *really* is. Sadly both of my shots of her are complete disasters, so I won't be posting them. There was a funny moment when a girl walked near her booth with a white T-Shirt that read "I <3 Cock". (That's a heart symbol in the middle there.) Roxy saw it and without a blink said, "Take off your shirt *right now* and give it to me! I love that shirt!" It was really cute; you probably had to be there.
I had a long-ish conversation with Tricia Devereaux. It was really cool to meet her since I've seen her post on ADT so much and of course was a fan when she was still doing movies. Another nice girl. I hope this craziness with the obscenity charge against Evil Angel goes away soon.
