I'm still with the older style monitors (21").

| Saki At-Large 2087 Posts 11/99 | After suffering through a couple of months of no PC monitor at home (and having to access the PC remotely from another computer), I finally broke down and bought a new flat panel LCD monitor to replace my busted (and just out of warranty) 17" FD Trinitron CRT monitor. I picked a 17" LG L1720P because of the nice styling, bright image, 16ms response time, and DVI connection. So far so good...it came with a nice calibration utility, and I haven't spotted any dead pixels (keeping my fingers crossed). Good deal too...will be under $450 after rebates/GC's. Nice they were good enough to include a USB host cable and both separate DVI and VGA cables (instead of just an adapter). Bright as hell too...had to turn the brightness all the way down to keep my eyes from being blinded. Negatives so far are a really stiff, hard to adjust stand, and a built-in USB hub that's only USB 1.1. Here's a pic of my new toy. [Link] |
