Ever since Xrent updated their site with the larger boxcover pics (a nice idea btw), navigating takes much longer. Depending on when I'm on the site, the pages load slower than before.

And we now have to re-sort every category of titles. Instead of just selecting "newest" once and being able to browse the latest titles for all categories, we have to re-sort each category, even the Wishlist.

@Big Dave,
Is there any way to address these issues?

As for the speed issue, all I can say is we are working on it. I know that is a very generic answer and we apologize. Our webmaster and all the big enchiladas are aware of the speed issue and we are working diligently on getting it back to where it was before me made the most recent code upload. About 95% of my adult purchases/rentals are through Xrent so hopefully things will get back up to speed soon.

I liked the old format better for doing searches...the one where you could simply put a check in a box next to each genre you want (or don't want) to search. The checkout process seems to be taking a lot longer too (the screens come up really slow).

While we're talking about X-rent website questions. Is there any way to see the newest releases? I have to log out and then click on newest releases on the main page to see the new releases. When I'm logged in I don't get the newest releases catagory on the main page.

Nop, not on mine. I just checked and I wasn't logged in and at the bottom of the page was newest releases. When I logged in all I have on that main page is "Now Shipping on XRentDVD Preferred"
