I remember the first porn film I saw. It would had to have come out in the late 70's or very early 80's. All I remember is a woman in her room and her husband comes in and says "Little lady you are going to get fucked!" She says "what!" and throws her on the bed. Their is another scene where they are having sex on the stairs standing up. This was the first porn movie I ever saw and was just curious what it was.
Redish, I honestly have no clue what they looked like. I just remember she was in her bedroom either naked or in a bathrobe. And her husband comes in grabs her and say the line and she was like "What?" The stair scene came after.

See now the scene I'm talking about has him coming into the shower to get her. They have words she gets out of the shower and puts on a towel. Then they go to the bedroom and he throws her down. Some action on the stairs and then onto a couch.
It so funny to watch porn movies from the 70's compared to todays. Back then it seems they tried to have a story and acting in between the sex. Whereas today they have just dispensed with any assumed story and just go right into the sex...Not that anything is wrong with that. It is also interesting to see the difference between the actresses then and today.
I remember the acting in that movie being decent yet underutilized, particularily John Leslie.
The problem was with the way the story was told, it needed more seduction instead of the impulsiveness. Annette's character jumped from prude to prostitute a little too quickly.
I think it would have been better: 1) had she been seduced more by her husband's friend in the brief blow job scene. Maybe this evolves into an affair? 2) add a scene where the prostitute seduces her and sets up the meeting with the madam. 3) move the movie theatre scene and the scene in the truck after her run in with her husband's friend in the brothel or the mugging.
I should watch it again, I feel I may be confusing the order of the movie's scenes in point 3.
That would make a dramatic shift in behaviour more believable.
I don't agree. This is a woman who has been told since she was a young girl that acting on her sexual impulses made her a whore. To me she was never a true prude, simply a slut in hiding. She was just denying her sexual nature and in order to break her chains so to speak, she had to act out. The trip to the XXX theater and her first john are placed perfectly and the hottest parts of the entire movie. Without these two events, she wouldn't have the guts to go to the brothel. She was testing the waters so to speak. Having her be "seduced" by another onto this path would have weakened the power of her journey. She did it all on her own. "But I didn't come." "Whores don't come."
