Doesn't John Stagliano own that company (I think so but there are two or three "angel" companies in this business)? If so, I would fire off a nice reminder to Tricia Deveraux (his wife and [essentially from what I understand] business manager among other things). Remember that John is in legal trouble now and probably doesn't have time to tend to things like he should. Hopefully you get your check soon -- I hated that when my paycheck was late, and I am not even in the adult industry (I worked in educational institutions and later compliance in the banking industry). BTW, never heard of Rob, is that John's brother? Also, I hated it when assholes with no brains tried to tell me what to do as well. I also was talking about Sadie's bad behavior, I did not mean to imply that you shouldn't stand up for yourself. I thought I was clear on who I was talking about, maybe not clear enough.

Mackenzee- Who was the director of the scene? There's noone named Rob Stagliano - there's just me (Karen) and John Stagliano, and I know John hasn't shot you or Sadie West.
I wondered what was going on. I hadn't heard of Rob either and know your company doesn't usually forget to pay people. I figured that it was either an honest mistake (that happens, payroll doesn't enter something in the computer right and a check isn't issued -- I've run into that in my lifetime as well outside the adult industry) or she got swindled by someone, using your last name and reputation to put her off guard. It seems like her agent would have caught this one, though (if he is experienced at his job). This is why it is worth it for most talent to pay the ten per cent (or twenty if you use agency housing and transportation) and have an agent, that way these things are taken care of for you. Most reputable agents also know the producers and can judge if they are reliable or not and if they treat their talent with respect.

I don't claim to be a know-it-all. I was just giving advice, and I am sorry if it sounded too harsh. From your post (you seemed worried) I thought that you were doing the leg-work yourself. Also, women thinking about getting into the biz are probably reading this very thread and could use the advice. In fact, I have learned a lot since starting with this forum. I hope you can get this straightened out and get your check soon if you haven't already. I also hope this is a one-time mistake on that producer's part and not an attempt to rip someone off! With all of the small mom-and-pop type producers sprouting up using the internet, some are bound to be in financial trouble and need to be prodded into making good on their promises (and even Karen and John had never heard of this Rob Stagliano, which makes me even more suspicious that something is not right with him).
Even if none of the content is usable, you should still be paid as it sounds like that is not your fault. If there is a clause allowing nonpayment for this reason I would be highly surprised. I would try filing a small-claims lawsuit against the company that Rocco works for, you don't need an attorney and it sounds like you have a case that you can win. ^^^ That's absolutely right, and GREAT advice. Go for it. Moreover, though I'm not a lawyer, even if there was a clause in the contract denying payment for work done, I'm fairly sure such a clause is illegal and unenforceable.
^^^ Duefuss and mharris, you are both absolutely correct, and I say this as a lawyer, if Mac did her job in front of the camera, then it's not her fault if the folks behind the camera didn't do their jobs. If she completed the scene to the point of the money shot, then she completed her work and is legally entitled to be paid. Sounds like she earned it.
That makes a lawsuit a bit harder, I don't think you can serve someone with a lawsuit overseas. Mac, keep your ear to the grindstone about this and when he gets back into the country sue him (you'll hear, he is too famous in the industry to come back unknown because porn is his livelihood)! You have six years to file a lawsuit. Maybe Karen can get him to pay voluntarily (if for nothing else but so he can keep a good reputation within the industry), it is worth a try. I hope this is nothing but an accounting mistake, but it looks less and less likely with each passing day.

Simply having publicized his not paying his performers on this board may generate enough pressur on him to pay. Not that ADT is The New York Times, but it does seem to be watched by industry folks who could make it hard for RS to find people to work with him.

Congratulations. The Hustler parodies are high-profile movies with lots of advertising and hype about them. This could be the vehicle to further your career in a similar manner as Jenna Jameson or Stormy Daniels. You could even end up with a contract if they like your work! If you want to see what you are getting into, I think the very recent Friends parody is from Hustler. There are also the Sarah Palin parodies, the Brady Bunch parody and several others. A secure future may have just dropped right into your lap. I don't know if Larry Flynt himself is directing this, but if he is and he likes you (actually whether he is directing of not, he may still like you and your work in the film) the sky is the limit! BTW if you are curious as to what role you will have (so you can prepare), I would call and ask. There is nothing wrong with wanting to do a bit of research into the part you will play.

I wasn't clear. This movie could get you a contract with any of a number of companies, even if Hustler doesn't give them. Also, just because Larry is paralyzed doesn't mean he cannot work, and since I don't work for Hustler I cannot say if he does or does not do the directing himself. I do know that people running Vivid, Wicked, Evil Angel, etc. do watch these movies to help find their next contract star (and to let them know what Hustler is up to with their products so they can compete). I say after three years of working as talent that someone is bound to see you and like your work. That is what it takes to get a contract in many cases. Bree Olson didn't just get her contract dropped in her lap at Adam and Eve -- she worked in other films as day talent first, Phil (or one of his talent scouts) saw her, liked her and offered her a contract. Neither did Kayden Kross, Carmen Luvana, Jenna Jameson (IIRC she was a Vivid girl), etc.. Heck, Briana Banks had to do Max Hardcore before getting her contract, and we all know how well she did! Please don't fault me because I misspeak at times -- but I believe I am right and this could be the vehicle to your wildest dreams! What you do with this opportunity is up to you.

If feature dancing is your interest, I say go for it. Julia Ann did well as far as I can tell, some of her movies even featured her in a dancer's role. Good Luck on the shoot! Also, enjoy that anal! We sure do when we watch it.
Mackenzee, don't pay any attention to this nonsense. There are a lot of top performers that perform IR and win awards. If you want to increase your fan-base and get over the hump to speak, my opinion would be for you to do some IR anal scenes. I for one would like to see you do IR anal. Please don't fall into this bullshit trap that IR will hurt your career. To me it's just like thinking that getting a boob job will help one's career. It's possible that getting a boob job may make the performer feel better about themselves thus turning out a better performance, but most guys prefer natural breasts. If you remember my posts when I first joined ADT, you know that I prefer natural breasts and stated that at least yours don't look bad like most I've seen, but like your natural ones better. To me, they were really nice to look at. This is a question that you can ask yourself that you don't have to answer here, but do think that getting your boob job helped your career like some try to convince the performers it will? (I know some of the industry big-wigs and others pressure performers into it). As far as the IR anal, I know you said that the black performers are too large for you, but you should consider trying some that are smaller. If you aren't attracted to them, just stipulate in the contract and make it clear that the ones you've performed with vaginally not stick the whole thing in your ass and only to the point that you're comfortable with. Although I've only seen clips of you with white performers anally, (compared to owning several IR DVD's and downloaded content from paid sites of you) I haven't noticed a huge difference in the size of their dicks compared to the black performers. In closing, I hope to see you do some anal IR very soon and don't buy into not doing IR anymore will boost your career. Just check out the performers that win awards and shoot a lot of scenes and you will see that a lot of them do IR (including IR anal) and are natural breasted.
You are making a mistake there. Belladonna and Jenna Haze are just exceptions to the rule. It's a well known fact that hot pornstars who don't do IR are more successful than hot pornstars who do it. There isn't even that many hot girls doing IR.
