Sometimes they can be hard to cancel too depending on the biller. I'll keep some pre-checked cross-sells as long as they are billed through CC Bill or Epoch because I know I can spend a day looking through the site and then cancel in plenty of time to avoid the regular full-price membership. Sorry to hear you got caught. It happens to all of us once in a while. [Link]

Click to expand The company is registered in California. In any case, looking at the relevant signup page, the two cross-sales are extremely obvious. The devious part isn't that they're somehow hidden, but that at least the one for analized.com can't be declined since it's presented as a free add-on for the first month. In any case, the other poster appears to be exactly the type of highly inattentive customer that this stuff is designed to take advantage of. [Link]

Some sites even blur the area or make it the same color as the background. You have select the entire area to see the check.
