I've been tuning the rules for the past week to try to limit the number of false positives. There still might be a few things I haven't setup exclusions for and a rule might ban someone for doing something completely innocent/normal. If you're an abusive user we can also use the WAF system to block you from accessing the site. If you trigger one of the WAF rules you'll get a screen like this: An automated WAF ban isn't permanent. It will last anywhere from 20 to 60 minutes depending on the rule that was triggered. If you email me the incident ID I can look it up in the logs and use the information to tune the blocking rules. We've been dealing with a wide variety of hacking attempts recently. A couple of days ago someone hit us with a Slowloris attack which caused us some headaches for a bit.
