So I got my first 4k tv not a oled or anything fancy just budget samsung model, nonetheless it's still 2160p 8 million pixels are 4k physical movies not a thing yet because what I've been seeing is regular blu ray with 4k digital downloads I don't know if my internet will play 4k videos that well so I was hoping to buy a 4k blu ray player buy some movies.
I was testing some 4k videos from hqporner and none seemed to be true 4k the file size was like 3gb for 25 minute video which seems like real 4k I think u need at least 25mbps speed to stream 4k videos since it's a tube site probably not real 4k maybe 1440p hell I'm surprised the smart tv is powerful enough to play any 4k content straight from the internet app.
Wow so no replies from anyone????? I'm not very tech savvy so either I'm not getting 4k resolution or 4k isn't all it's cracked up to be or my tv settings aren't right.
You need to get some good 4K video test files and play them on your TV. It has a USB port that will accept a flash drive or external SSD, formatted in exFAT, with video files on it. The TV has a built-in video player that will play the files for you. Some porn sites have 4K trailer downloads for their scenes, which are great for testing your TV and letting you figure out the settings. If you want to stream 4K video to your TV, you need to have a good Internet connection and connect your TV to the router via an Ethernet cable, as wireless often doesn't work well enough for 4K streaming.
I have a 55 inch Samsung 4K from 2017, a higher end model.
Honestly with how far back I sit, I can't really tell much difference between 4K and 1080p.
I've tested 4K and 1080p videos from Naughty America, BangBros, Vixen. The TV reads my USB external hard drive and plays the video files with the built-in player. My TV does 4K upscaling from HD sources very well apparently.
Calibrate your UHDTV then test it with a UHD disc featuring a native 4k movie. Downloads won't give you the best quality. I think it's time the studios start offering UHD BD.
They aren't going to. Given how few adult releases come out on Blu-ray, your standard adult studio will never offer a UHD Blu-ray. About the only chance are places like Vinegar Syndrome (who has released SexWorld on UHD Blu-ray) and other boutique studios that release the classics.
