They'll have to have many many very good games straight away to get a chance to really compete with Sony and Microsoft... [Link]

Click to expand I think Nintendo should provide a game system for about $200 less per unit than the other two. Basically they'll target the people that could care less about playing mp3s on their gaming system. That may be what they're going after. [Link]

I don't need a $500 multimedia hub. And I think that Sony's Playstation 3 hype is little more than hot air. Give me the anachronistic ability to download 8-bit and 16-bit Nintendo games through an iTunes-like service for a dollar each, so I can host Mortal Kombat parties and start Tecmo Bowl leagues. After spending all this money on the new screen, you have to pay a lot more to subscribe to HD cable service, which only consists of about five channels. Every regular-definition channel comes out at about the size of a postage stamp. And the hi-def exposes everything you didn't want to see. You don't need it!
