I've been trying to sell some DVDs thru Adult DVD Empire and they list states and countries that you cannot ship to.
Was surprised to see Germany on the list.

Germany requires an ID to purchase from their online stores so there is no surprise that there are shipping restrictions in as well.

If you do a search in the shopping forum I believe you'll find there were some lawsuits in some counties in Texas. I could be wrong though, but I'm pretty sure that's what happened.

Sometimes and then there is a chance they will reseal it and send it through, depending on the content and the mood of the customs officer. It's largely arbitrary, but for the UK there are some titles which will get you in trouble for sure, like the Max Hardcore Euro editions.
