I was reading the DVDTalk forum tonight, and a poster in the mature section commented that he tried to order lube from AdultDVDEmpire, but found out that they wouldn't ship to his area.

I checked on their shipping policies, and there are a number of states that ADE will not ship "novelties" to, including Georgia, Kansas, and Texas.

Doing a little more searching, and Fivestar has added Kansas to the states it will not ship to. Though there, it appears they won't ship anything to Kansas, and hasn't limited itself to restricting novelties like ADE has.

Now, I went to college in Kansas, and the state has always been rather conservative, but as I went to college there, I would've noticed if Kansas was on ADE and FiveStar's restricted list, and it wasn't there in the past, so it looks like it is a new/recent addition to both sites.

Just wondering if something has happened in Kansas that has gotten e-tailers nervous about shipping adult products there.

And, it might just be my mind playing tricks on me, but it looks like the restricted shipping lists have been growing since I checked last.
