I just wanted to apprise all fellow ADT goers of the love I have recently developed for these two security applications.

I have been a longtime user of Norton Antivirus and Zonealarm Pro. But over the last couple years I have become increasingly annoyed at these two apps performance. So based on some reviews I read at www.pcflank.com I tried Agnitum's outpost firewall. And although it initally wasn't as pretty to look at and it took a little getting used to, it's performance is far better than zonealarm and best of all, it is so smooth with my system using a whole lot less resources. So I looked at what pcflank said about antivirus. and this led me to NOD32. NOD32 rocks! system resource usage is so much lower than Norton. Norton was such a hog and NOD32 even performs better in virus tests: [ Eset (NOD32) v. the competition]. CNET.com rated NOD32 low, but look at the user ratings for NOD32 (look at HOW MANY user rated it) and then look at Norton. Users don't like Norton too much but almost all love NOD32. So CNET totally screwed that review--I guess it happens. And PCflank sure helped me pick some winners.

So anybody that cares or is looking for some security software check out NOD32, Agnitum Outpost (and for anti-trojan protection my advice is Pestpatrol).

I love the performance of these apps so much I wanted to share it with everyone due to years of frustration with Norton and Zonealarm. Thx for listening :0)

Nod32 is great. Another very good antivirus is Etrust from Computer Associates. It's very light and fast also very effective. If your looking to save a few bucks Etrust is only $25 Nod32 is $40. For Antitrojan Trojan hunter and TDS-3 are exellent.

NOD32 is definately a underrated AVS but it gave me some trouble with integrating into TheBat email proggy so I switched back to McAfee. As firewall I use Kerio .
