After the line checks by BT a date for line activation was given and a modem was on its way. The modem arrived on the morning of activation. Set-up was no problem load software, plug in box and away to go. One thing I didn't know was that I had to install a micro filter at every phone point that was being used by equipment i.e. phone, fax, answering machine etc. because it will interfere with your download rate. Before I learned of the above I was getting 30KB/s now with all microfilters installed I am getting 60KB/s. There has been some bad reports on Tesco BB but my early experience has been positive.
