It's really a shame. If you're a performer, you deserve credit for your work. I'm okay with the women getting top billing if that's the way you want to go. But not even listing the guys is just downright disrespectful. And honestly, a stud can make or break a scene - depending on personal taste. No matter how much effort the girls put in, some guys just ruin scenes for me. And it's not necessarily because I think they're bad at what they do, it's just that I personally don't like the way they do it. Legitimately, there are times that I watch a scene because of the stud. Not necessarily because I want to bone him or some such, but because I know his tendency to bring out the best in their female co-stars. Some guys just have it.

Yeah some guys got it in front of camera, be it Mark Ashley, Erik Everhard, Mick Blue the years I started buying lots - and some guys behind camera, Jules Jordan, Chris Streams, Pat Myne/Danny Case, Mike Quasar, from early 2007. You could depend on them bringing the best of games. I thought so of Peter North too for a long time, from what the myth was built on. But I have yet to buy a DVD from North Pole with any good replay value at all. Scenes are separated, narrative sucks and there is no artfulness to see, just averageness and the overall picture quality? It tends to amateurish. No BTS, no fun. Just another day's work being captured, like if that's of any long term interest at all.
Not necessarily disagreeing with you but I don't think your average porn guy gives a rats ass about the recognition as long as he gets paid for the work. One added bonus with not being named in a scene is that if he isn't very good than he has sort of an automatic out. The harsh reality for men is that there is a true double standard in porn not seen in almost any other industry where the men really are second class citizens when compared to their female counterpart.
