Is it just me, or does it seem like there's been a decline of late in the percentage of pops that wind up on faces? It sure seems to me like there are more scenes than I'm used to seeing wherein the guy finishes on the pussy, stomach, back, ass, and tits. Feel free to tell me it's just me, but if you agree, do you have any thoughts as to why?

Maybe not, but we've learned to put up with it as a necessary prerequisite to seeing something we do want to see. My guess is, if you started one series of videos called "Cum on My Face" and another called "Cum on My Ass," and the contents of each fairly reflected the titles, you'd soon discontinue the latter in favor of the former. But, more to the point, it seems like you're suggesting that producers are coming to their senses and reacting to market forces, reducing the number of facials after so many years of misallocating their efforts on something that the porn public didn't really want. Really?

the traveler is probably right, if you stick to gonzo you'll probably still see plenty of facials around.
For a side discussion though it's kind of funny how I think there's like two kinds of facials, the girl actually getting blasted (which is the rare one thesedays I'd say), or the guy just ejaculating in her mouth directly. I'm not saying that there aren't plenty to be seen. I'm saying that, to make up some numbers, a year ago, maybe eight of 10 scenes ended in a facial, and now it seems like it's more like six or seven out of 10. Even (actually, especially, because that's what I watch the most) the gonzo sites seem to be not as facially focused.

Most guys prefer the pleasure of fucking the lady rather than stroking themselves with their hand. It simply doesn't look natural, when the guy pulls out before he is finished with the lady and starts stroking himself with his hand. And I'd say that finishing the scene with a cum-shot is a weak kind of finish. Because the viewer stroking himself usually doesn't cum on cue at the end of the scene. And then the scene would fade out on that note. Because this will naturally make the viewer want to see more of the lady in her future films. No finish should be the final finish, unless the pretty lady is retiring from the porn business. And even then it doesn't make sense to show the final finish for the lady. Because she might want to come back to making porn movies, and it makes sense for her to keep up such hopes among her fans.
