Samantha (Played by Jenna Haze) is doing her best not to use her magic but with Aunt Clara (2007 Best Actress Eva Angelina) babysitting, and mistakenly zapping Tabitha (Tegan), into a teenager, the fun begins...and the sex scenes are hot also, "I forgot we were talking about an 'Adult Movie'...". The first Bradys had Cindy nearly perfect with Leah Luv, Jan was freakishly perfect with Aurora Snow, and Hillary Scott was a good Marcia...although she wasn't as close as the other two. Still, it wasn't a stretch. They might have found someone better suited, but Hillary was fine. Many a person my age grew up having the hots for Samantha Stevens. She wasn't even on the same level as other moms, like Carol Brady. She was hot. So, not only do they choose someone who doesn't bear any resemblance to this iconic figure, but they cast someone in the main character role, someone people wanted to see played in a porn spoof for 40 years, and they also choose someone they have to toss an awful looking wig on. Samantha/Elizabeth deserved better. It's just so not hot to think of Sam wearing a freaking looking cheap wig. Jenna Haze is amazing, but she isn't right at all for Samantha. It should have been a blonde or someone willing to go blonde. And someone out there with a big name has to look at least a little bit like her. Teagan as Tabitha is excellent, as she looks a bit like both the young child and the older actress that played Tabitha for one season. I really can't believe they got it so wrong and, again, that's no knock on Jenna Haze. But when you look at how the Bradys movie went it getting it almost perfect and then look at the length they went to making Nina look almost exactly like Endora, it's just frustrating that they did what they did with Samantha. It did not look natural. Her study of Samantha Stephens seemed lacking especially when compared to Nina and Mike Horner. Bottom line, she appeared to be out-acted in many scenes (I hate saying that because I want to love everything in which this babe appears!). * Why was Nina Hartley relegated to a non-sex role? I would have LOVED to see Enora finally get it on with Derwood, uh, Dick's dick. Man, what a wasted opportunity! Even if Nina only performed her skilled domination over men... * While the inclusion of Sasha Grey into any DVD is welcome news, her scene seemed added on just to get her into the movie. * Let me get this straight - you have Sunny Lane in your cast in the same scenes as Aurora Snow and the best I can muster is "eh." Again, further wasted opportunities. That's freakin' Sunny Lane, man! And freakin' Aurora Snow! Furthermore, was that Madison Ivy? My wife has been creamin' over her for a few weeks now but blink and you missed her in this film. * That brings me to the fact that I feel the sex was a bit tame - for my tastes, anyway. * Last, Michelle Avanti provided the only anal scene of the movie. However, you have to sit through nine-hours of her squawking like a mortally wounded goose before you get to it. RECOMMENDATION: I rented this DVD. It has been returned and I will not buy. Though it has some memorable performances, the sex was a tad tame for my tastes and the notable things I disliked (blonde Jenna Haze, Michelle Avanti's voice, etc.,) outweighed the positive. And, yes, Aurora Snow and Sunny Lane, two of the most beautiful women (yes, that was Madison Ivy) in porn ever and they're really just names on the box to get you to buy or rent, because they really are not used at all. I liked the parody of the Bradys much more. I think it was more suited for a parody sex film, but I really expect more from this one, but it was a step backwards in my opinion. It is light, fun, goofy and the intent is merely to entertain you for a few hours. It's a sitcum if you get my drift. Some of you will like this more, and some will like it less. No biggie. I think that Jenna Haze did a wonderful job playing Samantha and yes, she wasn't the obvious choice but I think she delivered quite sweetly and really worked hard at the role which isn't easy to play. Plus when she bangs her hubby I know the crew was getting some big boners (word from the 1960s) and I know she really enjoyed stepping out from what she normally does. Give her some personal credit for stretching her boundaries and taking a chance. Teagan is great and the scene where she banged the life-size doll (James Deen) IS the hardest fuck scene we have ever shot. I couldn't stop them from screwing during breaks and while shooting this wild scene I was actually worried that it might be too hard core for one of our Disney-like spoofs. I absolutely adore Teagan and she was terrific as Tabitha so I know her fans are going to love this movie. We do have numerous projects in the works and a few will feature the great Sunny Lane so those fans that love her will have something fun to look forward to. She's a good friend of mine and we are looking for the perfect starring role for her. Hey, there is a cast of 23 in this Bewitched XXX movie and it is impossible to concentrate on everybody but we wanted to give the viewers a ton of stuff to look at and I will personally pay anybody $20 bucks if they can sit and watch this entire movie without laughing multiple times. It is fucking funny for those that like to laugh when they jerk off. It's not gonzo.....it's a sitcum! As for Madison Ivy, we had to cut out most of what we shot because this hot, sweet, dirty, wild, awesome, cute, hardcore little girl was just too dirty for this movie. I scolded her and sent her directly over to Eli Cross and SexZ Pictures where she was immediately chained up and wonderfully violated by a cast of 80. Yet, I cannot recall having a single sexual fantasy about anyone in Bewitched. Again, personal choice. You can't NOT know that. But that doesn't mean every review of what you do will be great or even good. Sometimes, people have different opinions, but that doesn't mean you suck. I don't know who in this thread suggested that they were hoping for gonzo. I think that's kind of a cop out to fans, like we're not smart enough to know that these parodies are a different kind of porn. As I stated, I very much enjoyed Not The Bradys, so I didn't expect a gonzo film. The Brady film had 3 girls and Carol and then the added benefit of being able cast other girls to service the boys like they did with Bobby and Peter. The story seemed very Brady-like. The Bradys have a problem with money, the kids hear about it, and then set out to "raise" money for the family. On top of that, Leah Luv was a great Cindy and Aurora Snow not only was the spitting image of Jan, but she actually seem to channel that character. Hillary was a good Marcia, but not as good as the other two. The parents were also very well cast. It may not have gone for as much as Bewitched did, but I certainly thought it was a far more satisfactory parody if you look at it in its totality. And I think maybe people under 35-40 (I'm 36) probably don't realize just how much of a sex symbol Elizabeth Montgomery was, while just about everyone has continued to grow up with the Brady Bunch. The wig thing probably bothered me more than anything. Sam was so hot and the wig was very distracting. Teagan was a great Tabitha and Sasha was hot as ever, although her scene really didn't seem to have much thought put into it. Again, I don't know how many people are even watching these parodies, but I think they'll be a lot of differing views because people grew up with these shows and will have expectations going in. I'm not a huge feature fan, but when I watch one I really have no expectations. If it turns out good, well, that's a pleasant surprise. It's hard to do that when it's Gilligan's Island or Three's Company because we all sort of have an idea about the characters and who might be right to play them and what we might want to see them do. But, please don't assume that if someone doesn't like one it's because they were hoping for gonzo sex. I wasn't expected that at all. This one just didn't work for me other than the really hot Teagan sex scene and some of the other characters like Nina Hartley and Eva Angelina (who really pulled her role of in a way that I didn't think she could). I never intended to hurt Jenna Haze's feelings...I apologize. I just gave my honest opinion and didn't even think she'd read my post, let alone to have someone so successful in the business feel bad about my opinions. It's not like people run around the country and line up to meet me or buy my movies or get my autograph. Again, I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings. To the makers of the parodies, please, no more awful wigs. And you owe me $20. I do look forward to your next films and I'm sure that I'll really like some and, maybe, there will be another that I don't. I hope if that happens and it's expressed here that it won't be taken as an insult. I know you work hard and appreciate that you take a pride in your work. That's why I thought I owed an honest opinion, especially because I really liked the Bradys parody. Sorry, Ms. Haze if you felt I was unfair in my criticism. I was on board for this particular project the minute I heard the news back in April. I followed the news and trailers. (Although we weren't exactly promised one every week as stated. WTF happened there? That was disappointing. And the site still isn't finished even after the DVD is released. Get on the ball people!) But I digress. I found the film fun and energetic and reminiscent of the original show. At least it wasn't any of that show within a show crap that the real movie pulled off. What the hell was that about?! Now don't get me wrong here because I'm sure all the other sex scenes were great but the only one I really cared about was the scene between Samantha and Darrin. I mean come on. How long have we waited to see those two characters get dirty?! So let me talk about that for a moment. That was a great scene! Seeing Sam talk that dirty to Darrin seemed forbidden and sexy. haha My compliant here is with Mike Horner. I was disappointed in the Carol/Mike scene in Not the Bradys because I was watching it to see how he was during the scene and how he would be in what I was hoping to be the greatest sex fantasy scene I had ever seen. I don't recall him once saying anything too dirty to Carol or to Samantha for that matter. When you're doing this type of scene/role you need to be a little more into your wife in that respect. At least talk dirty. Call her a slut or say her name or at least say something! But regardless of that it was a great scene. Now we know the real truth why Darrin stayed with Samantha and put up with all the bullshit her family did to him. I was disappointed with the Sam/Darrin scene was that there wasn't really a lot of kissing. Samantha and Darrin were a romantic couple. They usually gave a passionate kiss before Darrin left for work and when he'd come home. There is a couple kisses in the beginning of the film but they're more like pecks from two people who do not want to touch each other. Except for the fact that later we all know their going to get down and dirty. I also didn't recall seeing any kissing in the sex scene. I was so hoping for that because like I said they're a romantic couple. Of course they'd kiss during sex. No matter how horny they are they still would've gotten in a couple of kisses here and there before the final scene. And it's not just because this is a porn film. I've seen kissing in some porn films. Where was it in this one? I didn't like the cross fades from one position to the next either. I don't like those in any porn film. I realize this was done to cut down on the time because of the film, but this is the one scene that should've been way longer. Let us see all the dirty Sam/Darrin action next time. Overall I did like this scene...a lot. But it would've been 1 hex better if these things were in it. Okay, moving on to Jenna's performance. I could tell Jenna worked really hard to be like Elizabeth's Samantha. And at times you could definitely see some resemblance in her "Well..." or her "Sweetheart.." etc. You have to pay close attention though. Sometimes she'd even shoot the same type of look you'd expect from Elizabeth too. But you gotta admit spoofing a role that was perfected by the original actress is a hard thing to do. If you don't believe me just watch the real Bewitched movie. In no way was Nicole Kidman like Samantha. She didn't even twitch her nose like Elizabeth. Jenna, however, had the twitch down. Major props for that. Most people can't do it. So that was refreshing to see that someone new taking on this role could actually do the twitch. The major let down was not faulted by Jenna at all in my opinion. It was the writing itself. If comparing this situation to the real tv show. You have to say to yourself there is no way Samantha would just sit idly by (or go out on any errands) and let her newly 18 year old daughter run-amok and have sex with everyone she meets. (Yes, I know this is a porn film and that is the point.) I felt Jenna's scenes would've been more "Samantha" like if she had more to do in the film. Every so often you'll hear her say off screen "Mother!" or "Mother how could you?!" And in these types of scenes she should've been shown in the shot as Elizabeth was and usually showing a disgusted look if Endora turned someone into something. Again certainly not Jenna's fault. The writing, director, whomever was telling her how the scene should be set up is at fault there. I understand that some folks are saying and probably thinking 'She's not like Samantha at all. They should've at least gotten someone to look like Elizabeth.' Well, the thing is and this is the newsflash. There is NO ONE who is going to perform this role any better than Elizabeth did. Even if someone looked exactly like Elizabeth it could still be completely ruined if they suck at acting. Doesn't matter if it's a spoof or a regular movie or tv show. Elizabeth was Samantha. No one can replace her. No amount of acting or looks would ever triumph Elizabeth's original performance. I let go of that fact long before this movie even came out. So I went in without high expectations for Samantha or anyone else playing one of the classic characters in this movie for that matter. In my opinion, Jenna did great with what she was dealt from the script. Better than I had hoped. She could've done a lot worse, but she didn't. She walked in, nervous as it was about this role, and did her best with it. Seriously, I doubt there's anyone else in the porn industry who could've done better with the role of Samantha. I enjoyed watching her and she was endearing as sweet Samantha. Jenna also wasn't fed any of the funny lines that Teagan, Nina, James, and Michelle got. Because Samantha wasn't the one always doing the "funny lines." In the show she had some but the other characters were set up to bring in the laughs. That is how the show worked most of the time. I didn't mind Jenna wearing the wig either. I kind of expected it. I thought she looked hot in it. And it looks somewhat of a season 3-5 hairdo. (Jenna, I don't care what anyone says. I'll do you in that wig any day of the week.) The rest of the cast did a fine job too. Teagan was adorable as Tabitha. I'm actually wondering what Erin Murphy (the original Tabitha who took over the role between her and her twin sister Diane) would think of this film. I'd ask her but I'm a wee bit too shy to do that. Ron was funny as Dr. Bombay, but I preferred him in the Bradys as Sam the Butcher. Michelle as Gladys, James as Larry, and Nina as Endora all had me rolling. It's a great film and if all the x-rated scenes were removed. It would definitely be better than that piece of crap Sony dealt us and called the Bewitched movie. [Link] |

I would not have these DVD's if I thought you were bad at your craft. Simply put, you are amazing - right at the top of the profession by any measurable quality. As to my comments - First, I never said you sucked. Second, it is not your fault that you played the same role as a woman who defined that role and has been and always will be blonde. Imagine the poor guy who was the 2nd Phantom of the Opera on Broadway! Third, Mike Horner and Nina Hartley are legends in feature porn. In much the same way John Leslie could have been a mainstream actor, either of those two could walk onto a Hollywood set and fit right in. So it is difficult to be compared with them particularly since they slammed the mark. I think a natural blonde was needed for the role of Samantha. You are not a natural blonde and many of us were thrown by the wig. That is my opinion. Then again, opinions are like assholes...everyone has one. My only complaint is that between Not the Bradys and Not Betwitched you have Leah Luv, Aurora Snow, Eva Angelina, Jenna Haze, Teagan, Sunny Lane, and Sasha Grey and NOT ONE ANAL SCENE among them. Now I have to assume this is a deliberate choice of the producers but (Nancy Kerrigan whine) whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Teagan that smile could light up a desert at midnight...it was just a joy to watch you Jenna you just nailed the whole thing and oh my lord were you adorable in the BTS trying to twitch your nose without moving your mouth Sunny, Aurora..I normally dont like orgy scenes cause I always feel like half the action gets missed but I would really TRULY appreciate it if you two could do that strap-on action just the two of you someday. Nina Hartly was great, Eva was as well. That movie combined comedy, natural sex appeal and a great cast to create a fantastic porn flick. Bewitched doesn’t have the natural sex appeal that the Brady Bunch has, but the way this movie is written we get a story that is both true to the original and pretty damn sexy. Jenna Haze and Mike Horner play the leads in this movie and they do so very well. We only get to see Jenna in one sex scene, but it is fantastic. Combine that with her great performance and this movie should solidify here as the leading candidate for Performer of the Year. There are some stand out non-sex roles as well. Ron Jeremy is funny as Dr. Bombay and Nina Hartley is perfect as Samantha’s mother. In typical sitcom style, things get complicated quickly and must be fixed before the whole thing unravels. On her first birthday, young Tabitha is turned in an 18 year old by her senile aunt. Everyone is in a panic to change her back before they have to explain everything to Darren’s boss or the nose neighbor. The funniest thing about the story is that it isn’t really that far off from something we would have seen from the old TV show. Young Tabitha is turned into a horny teen. She turns in a pair of scenes including a great boy/girl that should not be missed. Sahsa Grey and Eva Angelina also pop in with very hot sex scenes. I really like the sex scenes in this movie. They are still feature sex scenes, but are better than most. The story is cute, sexy and quite true to the show. The cast is very hot and sexually explosive, the dialog is sharp, funny and well-delivered. The sex scenes are better than your average feature and never get boring. I’d say that Not Bewitched XXX is the prohibitive favorite for Best Comedy of 2008. [Link] |

I loved Eva Angelina channelling Paula Abdul as Aunt Clara. Jenna was very cute, outstanding as always in her sex scene, and I think she did extremely well with the acting - bearing in mind that she was playing the 'straight man' and holding everything together whilst everyone else had the funny lines. The old-timers (Nina Hartley, Ron Jeremy and Mike Horner) were, of course, a riot, and the non-sex actors played their parts well!
