I haven't seen all of Omar's stuff by any means, but I think his standard 'target' is one or two anals out of four scenes in a movie. I think a problem arises because the US distributors of Omar's movies give them new titles and box cover blurbs which exaggerate the amount of anal and lead to disappointment. For example, a vid titles 'Canal Boat Sluts' in the UK was retitled 'Canal Anal Babes' for US release. As it only has two anal scenes this is misleading. I doubt if this is Omar's fault, as I don't think his UK and European releases have the same problem, and he probably doesn't have much control over the US versions. [PS: for those who don't know him, Big Omar = Omar = Omar Williams = Big Willy. Most of the European releases use the 'Big Willy' name.] Topic Moved by - DenverDon on Mar 31 2003 [Link] |

Even moreso is the fact that many of them have comments on the cover such as Big Omar's Junkyard Babes with packed with anal . As much as I enjoyed BOJB, I don't think there was ten minutes of anal in the entire movie, which ran nearly ninety minutes. It's extremely misleading and something anal fans should know if they're considering picking it up. I can fully believe that the movies are going for what Omar targeted them for. You sound like you're complaining about reviewers complaining about titles with these claims not living up to their claims. What else should we do? Isn't that some of what we're supposed to do as reviewers? Point out where products don't come close to what's advertised? I'll state again that I think your comments are directed towards me since I've done all but one of the reviews on this series here. Rather than just whining, why don't you propose a solution to the problem as well, or don't you think that misleading claims on boxcovers are a problem? [Link] |
