I can't imagine that it does. Though "Initiations" has never wowed me like some of the other Rocco series. The girls too often become anonymous flesh pawns quivering before the mammoth phallus of the Madman. The movies end up being so much about Rocco that it's more of a sex marathon than anything actually sexual. Perhaps I am in the minority in this appraisal, but I know I've become much pickier in regards to buying Rocco titles. Here's hoping this one elevates the series to its true potential.
Wow... that's interesting Skronker. I find Rocco's Initiations series to be one of his most interesting of late. Granted other series of his have done well also, but in the past several months, I think his work in Initiations has been some of his best work.
Mike and I talked about this subject at length when we met in person on the Elegant Angel trip. I agree with his view, and for me, the Initiations are my favorite Rocco movies, though I don't especially care for the first two. But #3-5 are just what I want to see, scenes that are more about interaction between the performers than simply about getting various holes stuffed to the maximum extent. And there's still plenty of hole stuffing, it isn't as though the scenes are full of people sitting around talking.
..A couple of things, ..first you are not in the minority here (believe me!) ..I totally agree with you and there are others that in private e-mails feel the same way. ...these days rocco's videos are more about him than the girls. ..that's why you see rocco and multiple girls scenes in 85% of his videos, is about him and how many pussys he can fuck in 20 minutes (a concept that sucks if you ask me) ..somebody has to remind him that the girls ARE the stars and They deserve a good fuck, something that is not gonna happen when she is part of a scene with diluted sex (meaning g/g/g/b BS) ...the people having fun concept I'm sorry but I don't buy it, ..Yes, it happens but not that often like others suggest ..like MLyons says porn is subjective ..where you see girls having a good time all I see is girls playing for the camera, some do a great job making you believing it, some don't. ...If that's your fantasy more power to you I say. ...me?..my fantasy is watching a porn girl getting a good fuck.
Would you mind me asking which other Rocco series are you referring to? For me, his best work was in TAS and AT series. His Initiations and Reverse Gangbang aren't what I expect from Rocco. Like Wally mentionned above, girls are the stars of the movies, g/g/g/g/g/b is not my cup of tea.
Oh, Animal TRainer -- for the most part; esp. the earlier ones; TAS, some are strong but, again, I was a fan of the earlier numbers; the movies with Kelly are usually WAY out there into the sexual extremes, which I (mostly) like.I thought "Invades Poland" was unusually good, and in an Initiations vein (ha ha ... sorry for the pun); American Angel in Paris had some of the old AT energy.
You're too harsh, skronk. Not all of them. And don't forget that many famous American starlets are considered as the epitome of the lifeless, planks-of-wood pornstar, like the one that used to play with the fichus leaves while fucking. There's actually a very long list of very passionate "Euro" performers, from Lynn Stone to Michelle Wild. I think that the real problem is a professional movie industry in Eastern Europe. Prague is still very wild. But in Budapest agents and girls are already jaded about the whole system. To be more direct and frank, tho': I really don't see all this lifelessness. There are dozens of movies each month with great performances from the girls.
Initiations is my favorite Rocco's series too. It's not AT, but that's the point. And I'd always choose a very good Initiations (3 and 4 are really, really good) over a lame AT (the last volumes were pretty mediocre, imho). In 6 there's a bunch of incredibly pretty girls, all new (more or less). That's good enough for me.
Don't get me wrong, I have lots of fave Euro performers. I just find that the "casting call" nature of a lot of the Euro productions skew the performances toward the less-than-passionate. I'm a big fan of Euro Angels and Hardball and Beautiful Girls, etc. I just find that IN GENERAL, the American babes (and some of their adventurous Euro counterparts working in LA) are, one-for-one, more exciting performers. The Euro babes are, without a doubt, better looking and more modelesque, but I just don;t see the heat. To each his own, however. I am speaking only for my tastes and perceptions, based on zillions of hours of porn consumption. There are some intense Euro female performers, I just think the US has a lot more and they are a lot more evident, at least in the flicks I like to watch.
LOL, Wally, I think we have figured out quite a while ago that we have different taste for these things! What I think we CAN agree upon is that with so many movies being made by various companies, we can both find plenty of titles that we enjoy, and I'm glad about that!
