I signe up for Sugar DVD on tuesday and my queue was populated at 7:00AM, today I receive the DVDs. Basicaly it took 2 days for the DVDs to arrive. The company is based in the same city and state that I am at. So I gave it thought and came to conclusion that some companies might be slow at shipping because of the shipping fees and I think that they might have something like a monthly shipping quota.

It should be 1 day in the same city, no reason why it shouldnt be, unless you send the stuff the same day after the mail pickup hours. I get the letters from Albany on the next day.

Not to stick up for a competitor, but it was only one delivery and you may want to give it a few more turns before passing judgment. I'd also encourage you to take up other companies, such as wantedlist.com on their free trial offers as well and compare services. If there's a difference then go with the company that gives better service and selection. If there's no difference, then it's probably something at the post office.
