But first, if it consoles you, most attacks of this nature are really attacks against a marketing machine. The world has come(and been for a long time) to a point where people gain way more popularity than any one individual should garnish. Why the fuck do I know that Justin and Britney are dating? Yet, most people don't know that cigarette companies, alcohol companies, and the DEA are the biggest lobbiest against drug legalization. I personally love attacking Billy Joel, cause I have felt forced to listen to and like his music.

Diesel posted a topic that probably everybody really wanted to. Everytime I see the topic there are a few names that I want to throw down(you are not one of them), but I ostain cause I figure I would not want to read a post about how overrated Endorphin is. I do not like taking stabs against specific women in the industry, especially not based on something they can't easily change. And that should be evidenced in my reviews. I will take stabs at enthusiasm, clothing, makeup, and sometimes bad boob jobs, however cause
they can be changed and arguably should be. It is a porn stars job to show enjoyment. Sure, I would prefer if they did not act and really were having a good time, but I don't want to see a "when the hell do I get my check" look. Most people don't, and they should be warned of that. But, then again reviewers do interpret things differently. To see what I mean compare my review and HoustonDon's review of Naughty College School Girls 3.
I don't know what it is like to be a porn star. But in my line of work I actually do openly take critism and invite it much more than others. So I do have an understanding of how ya feel. I know that you can sift through a ton of good responses but that negative one will stick in your mind for too fucking long.
My opinion of you? Based on somewhat limited info. I loved ya in Private Parts, I'm a sucker for the more innocent, exhibitionist nudity.(not to mention the great ass). But I personally don't watch many of your DVDs. And that has little to do with looks or performance. Over the years I have become more of a fan of the girls that don't as much media attention. I guess I just like that naive feeling of being the one who discovered them. Girls like Nadia Moore, Melanie Stone, Stephanie Swift, and...what was her name?...er...yeah..Alexandra Silk. I do think ya look great though and when I saw ya was too mesmerized by your looks to even pay attention to your performance so I can't really critique it.
So remember that you are possibly the best-known porn star today and that is because alot of people like you. And, unfortunately it will carry some hate with it too. And that sucks.

But a couple things should be kept in mind. First, Jenna is a member, and one of very few porn stars that actually participate with us. Granted she is not a regular, and I don't suggest she get a sainthood for being here. I can not speak for her intentions. But regardless, it is true that she can financially benefit from participating. However, at least she participates. Second, I don't know about everybody else, but I have a dream of one day having quite a few pornstars participate here. My For the Women of Adult Entertainment series probably clued you in. Attacks will lessen the liklihood of others participating.

Torris, you have a right to express your opinion. You have a right to think that any porn star that doesn't take chopsticks up her butt, gets slapped around, or whatever else turns you on, is lacking in whatever quality you desire to view. Enough fans like Jenna-for whatever reason-that she seems to be able to pretty much write her own ticket. If that is disturbing, it's just the market reflecting it's perceived worth of her. It doesn't matter if it's her looks, her well made movies, or the "industry marketing machine", the bottom line is that she sells.

SmartBlonde, I'd prefer a mixture of each-performers, production companies, stores and fans. Tricia has been on both sides of the camera so she gets double credit. Tina is a regular here so she also gets double credit.
I'd like to see more input by the production companies but at the same time, I understand that few companies have the resources to keep track of every website out there. I've probably been a little too vocal in my likes and dislikes in the past, so will tame it down tonight. I'm feeling generous in my current state!

First of all, Jenna, as much as all of this BS can take it's toll, and I can't imagine how much you have to go through, remember that it's time to worry when they STOP talking! As much as I like my privacy, and am thrilled to be behind the camera now instead of in front, I did miss the days when I would have my few loyal fans send me stuff and just basically give me huge ego boosts.
