I feel like there's no point posting on that thread, but yes indeed - if they love seeing it so much, and it's so close to pleasure, then they should sign up for Strap Attack. I'm still confused as to how people can be so comfortable with enjoying seeing women in pain, and probably think of it as completely different from "rape" or other forms of sexual assault. |

Especially if a few porn fans had to sign up together for their "initiation". She could do four in an hour with breaks and make some pretty decent cash, and not get too sore. Well maybe her pelvis muscles might get sore from the slightly unusual (for her) thrusting motion. But other than that she'd likely be alright, and probably a little bit amused as well. If a strap-on session with a provider (or a significant other) cannot be arranged, I imagine some kind of dildo workout would be an acceptable substitute. |

| Gore Gore Girl Doctor of the Erotic Arts 7238 Posts 1/09 | That's an imbalanced analogy, in my opinion, if you consider the thread/specific posts it alludes to. The answer is no - a suitable analogy would be if a guy wants to see a girl throat-fucked and see her visibly struggle for breath, experience pain, and be given no relief, (often with the guy insisting that she experiences this as pleasure), then yes, it would be interesting to see how he likes it. I believe the purpose of these suggestions is to point out some highly disturbing posts, not to mention encourage a degree of empathy... |

If it is not a feature, there really isn't too much acting occurring. As one ADT poster to elequently stated "These aren't special effects, a dick down the throat is a dick down the throat". I am not here to argue about what certain female talent may or may not enjoy, but I will say that a large majority of talent that display serious signs of discomfort or an inability to breath during a throating are, again, not acting. Say what you will, someone who enjoys another person being in serious pain to the point of sexual excitement is somewhat disturbed. Once again, IMHO. In the strange convoluted world of male sexual repressions and insecurities, sadistic fantasy becomes a way to elicit sexual response from a woman without having to be sexually competent oneself. A man doesn't have to get it up and keep it up to induce a sexual response from a woman. All he has to do is rough her up. In most cases this is strictly fantasy -- pretending. Most people aroused by BDSM would be horrified at the idea of actually hurting someone. Their arousal comes from the sensory stimulation of seeing and hearing the pseudo ecstasy of a woman in pain. Part of their fantasy is that the woman actually likes the pain, wants it, is aroused and climaxes from it (e.g. Kink.com). This is why BDSM is the most common of the so called sexual aberrations catered to by the porn industry. Misogyny, on the other hand: rape, the actual harming and humiliation of women, is not primarily sexual nor is it fantasy. Rough anal sex, hitting, urination, etc. are expressions of power. They are connected to sex for the misogynist, of course, because the male illusion of superiority to women and to competing males has always been predicated on physical strength and sexual prowess. The most significant and dangerous difference between BDSM and misogyny is that misogyny is NOT a fantasy. The work of porn makers like Max Hardcore acts only as a stimulation to the woman hater to go out and do the real thing. The BDSM freak would die before actually harming a woman. The pure misogynist's ultimate turn on IS to harm her. |
| Bob All-Star Member 5516 Posts 3/03 | I think ADT could also benefit from a separate "Interracial Porn" forum -- separate but, of course, equal. Please e-mail Steph or Drew if you think I'm onto something here. Thanks all, Bob |

After 3 weeks of reading the IR Wars of 2009, I agree and think IR deserves its own section. It's mentally taxing to read the harassing posts that encroach into the Star Section alone, nevermind trying to navigate thru TPP! Painful ass fuckin On a related note, I cannot understand why there's even demand for anal prolapses. Willfully enjoying and getting aroused by female rectal prolapses is fucked up. Personally, I think 'enjoying/arousal for rectal prolapse' should be included in profiling techniques like animal cruelty is a predictor for domestic abusers and serial killers. Anal indoctrination elgringoviejo58, a great standard to live by and should be implemented ASAP! Mad props GGG Edited by - BYOB_Kenobi on 10/15/2009 9:31:25 AM |

Example 1 One could 'fetishize' the act of deep-throating a girl so much that it causes damage to her vocal cords. Does this mean it fine and should be acceptable? Example 2 I actually read somewhere of a person asking if there were any legitimate videos/scenes where a female performer gets infected with HIV. Is this a fetish? Are you fine with this? As for my reference to abnormal-personality/psychopathology research, I'll let you be the judge (if you are unaware). |

However, some fetshes or paraphilias, such as BDSM, or rape fantasy when present with other behaviors, e.g., animal abuse, lack of socialization, etc. can very reliably predict mental disorders. By themselves, no fetsh is anything more than a perfectly normal(IMO) individual turn-on. This is psychology, however, not Math. Indicators of mental disese, no matter how numerous, are not flawless predictors of it. |

However, this cannot be compared to your example of the transmission of HIV, or any other disease. For one thing, no performer consents to be infected with an STD. Plus, nobody dies from hard anal sex or deepthroating. Infecting someone with a deadly disease cannot at all be compared to the desire to view a particular consensual sexual act. Also, I was not taking issue with your statement about animal cruelty, only the incorrect assertion that it is comparable to an affinity for a certain fetish. Again, animals cannot consent, neither do they have the power to say "Stop," "No," etc. The comparison between the two is ridiculous. |
| BYOB_Kenobi Senior Member “Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards.” - Kierkegaard 2684 Posts 8/09 | I disagree completely. [div] First, let me make these caveats/stipulations, to prevent confusion.
I am responding to your post above in the following format, because I could easily write a billion pages on this topic and other issues related to consent. This format allows me to stay on point/topic, while responding to your specific questions and comments. [/div] My responses Q: "Who decides that an act is going "too far?"" A: I decide for myself to guide my thoughts and behavior, no one else (see above caveat section regarding my stance of not imposing my opinion on others). I stated my preference in this context. Comment: "I always thought that was up to the performers to decide." Response: Yes, it is up to them to decide what to do with their bodies. It is not up to them or you, only I can decide my views/values that result in my personal stances (i.e., "right" or wrong). Comment: "These are consenting adults performing these acts." Response: Yes, consent is a mandatory/basic component of any potentially risky behavior (and even many non-risky behaviors). However, like I stated before, IMO, consent in itself does not give immunity/green-light for anything goes, as I don't buy the whole "if she consents, everything is dandy" in ethical arguments. Comment: "If they don't find their acts to be so intolerable, then who is anyone else to tell them that they are?" Response: I try to consider extraneous circumstances/variables (many times failing). For example, there are many scenarios where a person can willfully consent, yet I would find it unacceptable (e.g., coercion, false pretenses, psychological/cognitive impairment, etc. etc.). Comment: "It may be a matter of personal opinion. But in the end, it's for them, not you or us, to decide." Response: Yes, it is for them to decide if they want to partake in the activity. It is me to decide if I want to procure their material, support this behavior (not financially speaking), and even condone this behavior. Comment: "The only decision you're responsible for making is whether or not to view it." Response: I disagree. Please see my previous response. Comment: "If there's a demand for a fetish, and there are performers willing to perform it, then so be it." Response: I do not wholly (100%) subscribe to the any 'market driven activity' is fine, especially as a justification. Usually I support this view, but in this case I do not support/approve of it. It could be argued that there are other unacceptable 'fetishes' that are on the extreme spectrum, but I won't cite these. Comment: "The same goes for deep-throating. So, yes, as long as the performer has agreed to do it, then there's no reason that I should I find it unacceptable." Response: Not sure of your example, but I was referring to a specific instance/example of deep-throating, not the general activity. Comment: "However, this cannot be compared to your example of the transmission of HIV, or any other disease." Response: Why not? We were talking about fetishes and this was a real example I came across and I found it applicable. Comment: "For one thing, no performer consents to be infected with an STD." Response: No performer consents to having a rectal prolapse (not that I know of), but it happens. Comment: "Plus, nobody dies from hard anal sex or deepthroating." Response: Although I would assume there aren't a lot of deaths attributed to the cases I was referring to, I think it would be overreaching to say there wasn't any. Applying your statement to the scenarios I originally cited, I find it presumptuous on your part, as there would be a significant number of cases that would most likely be classified as a medical/surgical emergency, where infection (in case of rectal prolapse) is a real threat. Also, I don't view death as the only non-desirable harmful outcome to a performer, as there are other outcomes that are unsatisfactory (e.g., disability, disfigurement, cripple etc. etc.). Comment: "Infecting someone with a deadly disease cannot at all be compared to the desire to view a particular consensual sexual act." Response: Please see my response to your "For one thing..." comment. Also, I submit it is relevant as this demand/preference satisfies the criteria/technical-definition for fetishes. Comment: "Also, I was not taking issue with your statement about animal cruelty, only the incorrect assertion that it is comparable to an affinity for a certain fetish. Again, animals cannot consent, neither do they have the power to say "Stop," "No," etc. The comparison between the two is ridiculous" Response: I will limit my comment here to preventing me from straying too far off topic. That being said, this is how many things in science/research is discovered. Subtle or even disconnected links are often formed after empirical analysis. I didn't say it was a fact or proven. Also, even though my wording wasn't the best (I don't equate the two), I was trying to draw a parallel showing that correlations can/do exist for behavior/preferences and psychopathology (please don't confuse my statement as I am saying there is a causal link or mutually exclusive relationship here & also please consider the stigma of psychological disorders). I was just stating a personal theory; no more no less. [mod edit: quote removed] Edited by - killbillvol69 on 10/18/2009 1:31:17 AM |

This is porn. We pay to watch girls fucking and painful anal is one way to cut through the thousands of run of the mill releases. It's a turn on for me not b/c I want to punish these porn girls but b/c I'm into the dominance and submissive ass-pects of it I'm a consumer I don't have to justify my expenditures to anybody and there is a market for this stuff that I will pay top dollar for. This post is just a lame troll |
