Yeah actually I think most of the work he did for Hustler was some of the best porn I ever watched. He had great supermodel looking girls doing nasty things in the best locations like Bali, Brazil, etc.. and the lighting and image quality was almost always excellent too. Guy seems to have been quite a good photographer if you ever actually seen the still shots of the same video in the printed Hustler XXX magazine they had years ago and bought for like $20 a mag back in the day. I'd say christoph clark and castel's movies from the late nineties and early 2000's changed porn forever. I am not a fanboy of Pierre Woodman, but I stand by what I said earlier in this post. If you want to introduce your girlfriend or wife to porn, you might start with movies from the 90s like Pyramid with Tania Russof or some of Woodman's films in exotic locales. Pierre himself, on his own forum, threatened to close his site 9 months ago because his numbers were low. His numbers from the US market are low, and that's why he's here posting now buddy. My point was, don't blame other producers or tube sites, acknowledge that your production quality is lower than competitors like DDF, Private, Dorcel, MOFOS Europe, 21 sextury, Evil Angel, Legalporno, myveryfirsttiome, Tushy, Dogfart, Brazzers, etc ... They all have studios, sets, make-up, male talent, picture galleries, trailers etc... WCX has a handy cam and a hotel room receipt for the night. That being said, WCX still has one advantage, the fresh new models he gets doing 1st time anals. The US consumer will love this, but you need to release scenes quickly and not take years, which is what he does because he actually edits everything himself, which is nuts. Since you all have your two cent comment I will deposit a few coins too . I am not gonna consume my post judging Pierre as a person. I don't have any right to judge anyone I do not personally know. Plus, I care about his work on the industry and only this. I have watched Pierre's career from Private and Hustler, to Michael Ninn collaboration as Woodman Entertainment until his current state. The conditions under he directed have changed totally since his big trilogies. The glory of big productions is a mere memory in porn, (Only Marc Dorcel struggles to survive in Europe now). With the vast growing of Internet the entire adult industry changed and has become more scene centric than title centric. Pierre had to adopt to the new demands. He continued his scouting with great success bringing more and more wonderful creatures to our screens. Being a master of anal and DP action he initiated smoothly, hundreds of starlets into these activities. He even managed to cross the Atlantic hiring many promising new American stars. He focused and invested on sex more than anything else as well as convincing these starlets to do their next hardcore step. The level of hardcore in his scenes never dropped, on the contrary I would say, it was risen even more. However, I have some notations on his work that it needs improving.
He became an one-man crew concentrating everything from setup to production under his control and supervision. No matter how good someone is this cannot function efficiently. He needs help. He needs to hire and trust people to share responsibilities and process tasks in order to be more productive. There are many talents out there for every profession.
He needs to put a decent generous preview clip with properly selected videoshots on all scenes in order to advertize his work and attract potential customers. It is extremely bad for marketing to have scenes without previews. Creating previews is a serious work and it involves time. He can even make a deal with fans to help him on this and in other tasks as well.
He tried to sell his image as a lover, but this didnt have the corresponding result he hoped for. I do not have any intention to doubt his love making skills (some of his love making claims are not bullshits like many ignorant people believe) but I think for several reasons he needs to stick more to his directing tasks in order to respond to any complaining viewers. So he needs to reconsider again his marketing approach and keep communicating with his fan base.
He spends a lot of money on hiring beautiful new talents and convincing them to do "nasty" things. That is a very good thing. Still, I believe he also needs to spend some money or time into improving the photographic quality of his clips. It is not totally bad but I think he needs to do a little research on other studio's video standards to take ideas. A good research always open new paths and helps keeping up with modern standards. I do not think he has any problem adjusting to any standards, after all he is professional photographer for many years. It is just a matter of devoting some time on it. But it is important.
Organize his scenes release better to keep up with the competition.
I have seen very beautiful and promising starlets in his home country performing for semi - amateur sites like "jacquie et michel". If he searches a bit there he might find great opportunities and he wont have problems with language too. Victoria is one of the most beautiful French girls I have seen in adult sites. Pierre, This is the USA market and consumer. No one wants to hear about how your scenes are a "secret". No one will call you "Master, Teacher, Master and Commander starring Russell Crowe, Masters of the Universe, Masters degree in Teaching". No one wants screenshots, anecdotes and stories., just release the scenes man ! Consumers know your content is lower quality with hotel room handy cam shoots, no studios, no picture galleries, you as the male talent. Yes, you are getting some nice American models to do 1st anals with you (well done for sure), which can explode your membership with support from the US market. Hire an editor and release the scenes in a timely manner or no one will support your site. I read in your forum you have 115 "to be continued" castings, plus countless xxx scenes, all waiting for editing .... that's absolute madness !!. Your loyal Euro members are crying for scenes from 5 years ago ! People will simply wait for the scenes to be available via torrent / tube sites, or they'll join 2 times a year for a month each time and download everything then cancel the membership. I'm not trying to bust your balls, but really, how long does it take to edit a handy cam video with no trailers, no BTS and no galleries ? Look at your last USA visit in January and the scenes you shot, we are now almost in September: Anna Morna - WCX shot her 1st new anal back in January and promised the scene before the summer, meanwhile Tushy.com released her scene back in May, still waiting for WCX to release, hahahaha, Addison Avery -- castings from January, waiting Rachele Richey -- WCX had her 1st anal back in January, missed the boat as she's done anal on other sites long since released, still waiting for WCX, Aspen Ora -- WCX shot 1st anal back in January, waiting for release, she's already shot for myveryfirsttime and Tushy, wait and see, now that her other anal scenes are coming out WCX will release
^^ He'll never admit to it because his loyal followers don't want the curtain pulled back on his "magic", but of course he's doing it with lotsa money, at least when it comes to girls who aren't fresh off the bus from somewhere in the Eastern European hinterlands. He doesn't have any special tricks that will make an American starlet forego a big cheque from any of the American producers that are willing to pay extra for firsts. If it's just about money then that's sad for the girls that he's willling to pay the girls more than what they are willing to pay in the states. Are the producers here in the US that cheap or is the demand just not there because it sure seems a lot of people here want to see these girls get it in the butt!
