So great to speak to others that have such an appreciation for the industry and the art it produces!!!
I live in TN so life here is hella conservative, nobody wants
to admit they look at porn much less say they are "fans" of it.
I would like to know how the people here got into adult entertainment.
and how it has changed your perspective. I've been a fan since
1990.I feel in love with suze randell, jack harrison, bob ferguson,
Holly randell, etc. These photographers and early penthouse
spreads showed me that it can go beyond lust.they showed
Me that femininity can be beautiful in erotica as well.so feel free to post
your thoughts. So grateful their is a community that gets it!! Cheers!!

I don't think most people in this forum are intellectual enough to appreciate the art of porn.
Because the man's higher brain functions are naturally suppressed, when he sees the ass of a sexy lass. It's her sexy ass he appreciates directly and not so much the art of showing it to him.

Perhaps you should provide a link to back up your statement, when you claim that someone else supports your view.
I've said what I did, because I've read some scientific articles which said that interaction between men and women often makes men stupid. You can check out these articles for yourself:

^ Thanks for the links. I was actually talking about during sex/masturbation, but I see you were referring to when a man "sees the ass of a sexy lass" which could be any moment during the day and is reflected in the studies you link. Regardless, if you're interested, I was thinking of Kathleen Lubey's "Spectacular Sex: Thought and Pleasure in the Encounter with Pornography" (which admittedly straddles the line between science and other disciplines).

Music used to have a big impact on me growing up, before then it was sport, but as a daily stimuli, porn definetely turned to be the new pop and the new sport skyrocketing into top at my entertainment chart. I had gotten fed up rapvideos filled white hot babes and no goddamn action at all. Films from mainstream lacked the funny realism from the old times. Reality-TV came along, but it sucked through and through with its fucked up average joes popping up all over the place. So I desperately had to get to another planet, I guess. It happened around the time of the release of Sheryl Crow's C'Mon C'Mon album, with this reference to popstars in the White House and popstars look like porn, a time when DVD was the new thing in entertainment and CDs with Madonna and Britney Spears were not. Rock still got an impact, but not with the same fire as it used to. I guess music consumption is more or less proportional to expanding quantities of drinking on given evenings from time to time nowadays. And when flat TVs came along with it's nicer qualities there was no going back. These things were simply made for each other.

Still very, very wrong and typically ignorant.
