I know that negative HIV tests no more than 30 days old are absolutely mandatory and must be presented (along with proof-of-age) before every shoot. What about other incurable STDs such as genital herpes or chlymedia (sp?)?
Or put it another way, is it just "assumed" that a girl (or guy) coming into the business will sooner or later get one or the other?
I have heard that a lot of American girls are wary of European male talent because herpes is more widespread there. Or is that a bunch of crap?
Unfortunately STD's are a natural part of being involved with the adult business but the good news is that the majority of them can be successfully treated.
click Do the math for per capita and keep in mind that the Czech Republic and Hungary are listed in the category of "Eastern Europe & Central Europe" so the situation of Russia and other Eastern European countries hits these two Central European countries in this statistic pretty hard.
It's like guessing the income of the penthouse owners in Rio de Janeiro from a statistic which includes the majority of the inhabitants of the favelas.
yup if your going to do porn your going to get an std.. its pretty unavoidable.. some are lucky to only get chlamydia alot get HPV the herpes rate is about 60 -68 percent supposedly. hepatitis is about 8 percent i think.
cathing chlamydia on a set is not big deal really its like getting the cold.. actualy id rather get chlamydia than the cold.. you run down to AIM they give u a Z pack and thats that.
but still... id rather be talent than a constuction worker or a miner.
If this is the same Nosey who posted at XXXPT, then yeah, he's talent. I remember him because he had the greatest avatar ever, which was a pic of Courtney Cummz(sp?) riding him reverse cowgirl while he gave thumbs up with an ear-to-ear smile on his face. I don't think he's like a Lex Steele or anything, mostly internet if I recall correctly. He's a good guy.

Then he needs to identify himself random. A kickass avatar at xpt is not enough.
To just pop up and say the things he did is a little weird since no one knows who he is, I'll give you that. But for what it's worth, I believe his name is actually Nosey. I'm not 100% positive, but I'm pretty sure that's the name he performs under. Like I said, he's not a huge name.
Now if you're talking about him letting administration know who he is so they can confirm it and put another little name under his screen name, than I guess that's what he may have to do, seeing as how people likely don't know who he is.
hi guys !! so sorry about that ive been lurking so long i just felt like answering.. well i used to be Internet talent in florida. USED to be.. un till my visa ran out and these new 2257 rules came about..
so cool that you guys remember me from XPT.
i did all online content.. mostly interracial stuff i went by Nick.
what else do you need to know. im really noone special lol..
so lets get back to the topic :)
i think what i said about herpes being 68 percent is wrong btw.. but its a figure i found online.
and i only did about 20 scenes... but i never got any stds from porn.
Thanks for the stats...altho, wish they broke the herpes stats out the way they did Chlymedia.
To nosey2000
Thanks for inside info. Still...hope you don't think I'm a ballbuster but...you kinda contradicted yourself. In you first post you said if you do porn, you're gonna get an std...but you didn't...and...I'm sure I must be wrong about this but I always had the impression that the industry in S. Fla., is a little less...um, strict when it comes to these things. More "fly-by-nights." Not everyone's a Rock Bros. operation.
85 percent of my shoots were condom only btw... i should have said.. if your going to shoot without condoms your bound to get an std ! my bad
Thats one nice thing about florida.. for the online stuff the use of condoms is up to the girl.
nope the talent here (that i know at least) are generally AIM tested its not as bad as you think.. also there is a place called "the repository" in fort lauderdale that offers pcr/dna testing (hiv chlamydia ghono and syph) for a similar price to AIM.
lol getting aim tested was always kinda fun.. would run in to everyone there.. the welivetogether girls, the captain stabbin crew.... hailey young.. keeani lei lol that clinic was fun.
After having read everything here I just got to say. Oh grrrrrrrrrrrrreat! AIDS,herpes,warts...makes me want to avoid sex even more. Makes me reconsider selling the farm just so's I can fly to L.A. and have Tiana Lynn rob me of my virginity. You'd gladly do that right Tiana (rob me of my virginity I mean)?
P.S.: I'M NOT IMPLYING THAT TIANA HAS ANYTHING, ANYTHING AT ALL.
P.P.S.:I know this is off topic but...random thought...the character that is the subject of the new mainstream Hollywood film "The 40 Yr. Old Virgin" reminds me of me. But even HE has gotten closer to doing it than me judging by the commercials! I guess no woman will get to enjoy my 7 and a half inch cock...
I believe the answer to the original question in this thread is simply:
YES! AIM and most of the other clinics are doing HIV, Gonoreah, Syph and Clymidia screenings all in one. All of the AIM sheets I've seen have those all listed.
The only thing I have not noticed listed so far on the standard test results is herpes. But then maybe they list them only if they are present/known and reported for that performer? Maybe I just haven't seen a test with a listing for herpes, or maybe I just didn't see the herpes part when I was filing them - that's a possibility too.
Conversely, after handling about 100 AIM tests working in a clerical aspect of PR for two different companies now, I have seen three AIM Test results that did show the talent had been treated for/was being treated for an STD (not AIDS) , but were safe to work. (This normally means that if they are still being treated, they are on the very last of the meds, and the infection is technically gone. It's usually included with another test showing that they are NOW clear of the antibodies, or virus or whatever.)
If the directors/producers or talent aren't happy with the "safe to work" on an STD test, then they have the ultimate decision on whether the talent works or not.
[Edited to clarify that I could have missed it and what is meant by safe to work.]
The rules have changed. AIM does not give out letters anymore stating the person tested positive for an std but had been treated. If you tested positive for Chlamydia you can't work for 5-7 days until you retest with a negative result. Some people still test positive for a week after taking the medication because the dead bacteria is still in the system but others are clear a few days later.
I've heard that porn stars contract diseases that shouldn't be sexually tranmittable diseases in the first place. That's all I remember folks so don't ask for details.
Katja has posted in this thread? YIKES!! That means she now knows I'm a virgin! Hey! Wait a minute. Say Katja, (clears throat) would you like the uh, honor, of robbing me of my virginity? If it helps my case any I HEARTILY apologise for what I said about your pussy. Besides, it'd cost you VERY little ($'s or euro's or doichmarks)(sorry about the misspelling I don't have a dictionary handy) to bring me to you in L.A., provide a place to stay (I could stay at your place therefore saving you $ , and feed me (all I'd need is White Castle and daily helpings of your SWEET ass ). I'd do ALMOST anything to lose my virginity. Please, won't you help me Katja?
