I looked around but couldn't see exactly this topic covered elsewhere. Is there a list anywhere of porn stars who retired for a few years and then reappeared for a few scenes - usually on pay sites? The reason I ask is that IAFD doesn't seem to catalog a lot of appearances on proprietary sites in general. I often find that the girls age very nicely and they seem to be even more in to the sex on their second time around. But I only stumble across them by accident (I rotate my memberships with the various sites based on content, generally) Some examples off the top of my head - Lady Mai on CumLouder. She looks hotter than ever. Great job on these scenes. Sheila Marie on Brazzers. Couple of smoking anal scenes with this hot MILF. Always been a big fan of hers. Mad I almost missed them. Kaiya Lynn on Brazzers, I think? Tia Ling on Sinnistar - actually, she had not retired. But still, the scenes she did with them are not cataloged on IAFD. Which is a shame, because they are really good. Appreciate any help! Thank you!
"Film" is synonymous with "moving picture". By your (poor) logic, we shouldn't expect IAFD to deal with DVDs, either, because the MOVING PICTURES aren't actually printed on celluloid FILM and we don't load it up onto reels for viewing in our rumpus room. ^ Although it seems irrational and outrageous but IAFD only recently started to reference stand alone scenes (not titles) of sites like Brazzers, Dogfart etc... who are specialized in streaming scenes to their listed actress database. So there are a lot of info which hasn't listed yet there. There are many big mostly European internet sites which scenes are not listed there at all. But people in IAFD working double time to catch up. Data18 have a great database too with a sophisticated searching tool as well. But generally it is not so easy to find that list you are searching for. Maybe you could create a custom list here I can add to your list... Gauge who reappeared for one only scene in Brazzers two years ago. Ryan Conner, Kiki Daire, JR Carrington, Debi Diamond, Teri Weigel, Nikita Denise, Marie Luv, Missy Monroe, Sophie Evans (Hungarian actress who will be in upcoming Private movie), and there are many others I cannot remember now.
There was nothing snide about my comment, and I'm sorry you found it unhelpful, but I didn't think I needed to elaborate. Obviously, I was wrong. The difference between film and an internet site is that when you and I get a porn title we get exactly the same content which is intended to be viewed in the same way. While, the same content is available to both of us on an internet site, there is no intended way for it to be viewed, and the content tomorrow may not be what the content is today. That makes it very difficult to fit into the IAFD format.
Eve Laurence has quit the industry 2-3 times. Seems to return every other year or so. Kaylynn was out for awhile then came back. Not sure if she's still in the industry or not. She gets hotter with age. Carmella Bing dropped out for awhile after she got pregnant. Came back after having the baby for a few scenes in the BBW sub-genre. Shawna Lenee retired 4-5 years ago but made her comeback late last year.

The deal with IAFD is this - nowhere do I see it explained on IAFD that they don't catalog internet scenes. As was CLEAR to anyone with any sense at all in my original post, I have ALREADY inferred that they generally do not. However, you will find the occasional internet scene cataloged. These are highlighted in yellow. Maybe you've noticed (<-- this is me being snide to you now). Their policy regarding the cataloging of internet scenes is generally consistent but there are a handful of exceptions, so your absolutist statement that they don't catalog internet scenes also falls apart. In light of the fact that I CLEARLY understood these points in my original post, was your comment helpful or even worth making? This is a YES or NO question. I am not looking for anything other than a simple YES or NO here. Or, actually, don't bother. You and I already know the answer. If you're not here to answer my original question in a HELPFUL way, why don't you just get off my thread? I'll call you out on this behavior every single time. In fact, any further posts from you in this thread that do not directly answer my original query are trolling and I will deal with them as such. I've had a "handful" of good times watching that scene! :) The Tia scenes alone were worth the price of admission. Big fan of your work in general, especially the ATM scenes. Great stuff. Oh! I also loved that scene with that kind of nerdy looking ginger girl... what was her name? Melissa? So hot. What are some other scenes that you have of more well-known girls that aren't cataloged? I know you had some good scenes with Jamie Elle and Sierra Sinn.
I appreciate all the hard work the guys and gals at IAFD do, don't get me wrong. Can't wait for them to start cataloging internet scenes and I am glad to hear they're starting to. Jynx Maze came back after retiring and went right back to the very top of the business where she was previously. Although her retirement was pretty short. Still it's not easy for a girl to come out of retirement and get back to the level she was at before. Almost unheard of actually.

Speaking of stars who leave and come back, has anybody got any news about Kagney Lynn Karter? She had quit for personal reasons a few months ago. She has been out of rehab since a few weeks. Has ahe started to do new movies? I hope to see her again soon.
The most famous example is Ginger Lynn. One of the best examples is Careena Collins. She was an average performer before she quit. Then she later returned as a superstar. Now if only Aurora Snow would decide to come back...
Katja Kassin has retired and done comebacks many times :P She just recently started doing some scenes again after being in retirement for quite a while.

Jenni Lee seemed to do the retire for a bit, come back and shoot a few scenes and then quit again drill for a couple of years. Wasn't the rumor that she was daylighting as a pro poker player and you could always tell when the cash reserves had gotten low?
It very much seems that way...Remy Lacroix is another example of a brief retirement and returning to star status. A longer hiatus is much more difficult to overcome and we've seen that recently. The only star I can remember who really got that kind of attention was Ginger Lynn, back around 2000. So you really have to be a megastar, it seems. My guess is the talent scouts are looking for the next face, not so much yesterday's face.
