Like most guys I suspect, I've always been 'into' Porn, from the first time I watched a Video with a bunch of mates aged about 15, it got its hooks into me, and I loved it.
I still do, I have a catalogue of top quality Hardcore Porn on my HD, and like most, seemingly never tire of the latest offerings/titles, and the very latest girls willing to offer their
ass for my delight and regular release etc.
All through my 23yr Marriage, Porn has been with me, and we even watch it together, which certainly IS a fantastic addition - and certain to light some fires, which after 30yrs together,
is fantastic, and keeps the passion flowing.
However, I'm always thinking that we dont get down to it often enough, and sometimes we go for weeks without getting it on. However, during that time, I'll get my fix of Porn and pretty much daily
release', and never really thought much about it.
But - maybe this is exactly the problem ?
For example, I was away last week on a skiing vacation, and inevitably didnt have acccess to my frequent 'fix', and the result is that for the last 3/4 days of my trip, I thought of nothing else other than what I was gonna do with the wife when I got back !
Trouble is, when I got back, she was away for 2days, and the torture continued.....but I made sure I didnt cum until it was with her.
Cue her return, and a couple of glasses of wine, and some sensational sex, without Porn.
I really do now think that whilst it can enhance things in the bedroom big style, we guys should really limit our Porn addictions - it cant be doing us any good !
Having said that,.....I cant bring myself to delete my collection !!
Discuss. :-)

Why delete your collection? Just because you enjoy watching porn doesn't mean you can't look forward to enjoying your partner too. It seems like too many use it for a quick fix/release rather than just enjoy it. Too many use it just to get off. When they get off, they turn it off. Why? Enjoy the porn and enjoy your partner too. The two don't have to be mutually exclusive.

Porn is the ONLY thing that has saved my marriage. Like many men, my sex life was great with my wife when we were dating and there was no ring involved yet. We were younger, sure, but she was good for 1 or 2 times a day when I wanted it, and we never went more than 2 maybe 3 days without sex.
She was down for everything... normal every day regular intercourse, oral sex a few times a month and she'd even let me have at her ass once a month.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzrrrrrrrrrrrrrrpppppppppp! (record screeching sound)
It wasn't long at all after we married - within a year - that everything changed. Sex happened a few times a month, she acted bored and put off during oral, and nothing will make a man limp like a woman who is just mouthing the dick and staring at the wall or tv. Eventually even that was too much for her and she would tell me to "get it ready" when I asked for oral, which means jerking off until I was about to cum and then she would give me oral for the last 10 seconds and that was that.
No more anal, period.
If not for being able to release all of the sexual frustration through porn/masturbation, I would have either started cheating on her or divorcing her.

^ No offense, but it sounds like your almost advocating using porn to stay in an unhappy relationship.

Or if he's decided to stay for whatever reason, he's making the best of the situation.

If I'm not allowed to watch porn or spank the monkey in a LTR, Then I will just stay single.

Ok, I read the posts in this thread. But the topic relates to whether Porn is good or bad for a long term relationship, I say "relates to" simply because the actual title thread insinuates that Porn/jacking off ISN"T good for a LTR.
The two are entirely different subjects IMO.
Relationships are a two way street, a person needs to compromise when they are in a relationship. If you aren't getting sex in a relationship there is very little to stop a person from masturbating. Personally, my imagination is a bit more on the explicit side and does more for me than a porn flick does. If I feel the need to rub one off, I simply just do.
Porn on the other hand, well do you watch it with your partner or is it something you do by yourself? If you answered the latter try sharing your porn viewing habits with your partner, but keep an open mind. Ask your partner if there is any erotic films they would like to see, let your partner pick out your next erotic film and watch it together.
Another thing to take into consideration is this, are you actually ready for a LTR? I am just generally speaking when I say we all want to find someone, but there is nothing wrong with finding someone to date for a while. Reminds me of that Meatloaf song that goes...."Will You Love Me To The End Of TIme" and now..."I'm Praying For The End Of Time."
