They did a big update a couple of weeks ago across the entire network and it was disruptive, with problems getting access to to some of the sub-sites for a week or so. Things have calmed down now and access is mostly restored, but it seems like Passion-HD has been taken out of network. Has anyone else noticed this and has anyone had any luck getting them to restore access to it?

I was told that Passion-HD was never intended to be available to Porn Pros members with Platinum Access. They said fortunately the majority of the scenes are available on the network.

Well, it's been part of the Platinum access for at least the last 2-3 years. I do understand why they would want to separate it, since the content is pretty different, but this still bothers me because I feel like it's something I paid for in good faith.

I joined passion-hd.com and then upgraded. I am logged in right now and network scenes I can see on the front page are:

Alina Lopez on exotic4k.com
Eliza Ibarra on spyfam.com
Jade Reign on passion-hd.com
Winter Jade on povd.com
Sera Ryder on tiny4k.com
Alicia Williams on lubed.com

On the next page these are listed:

Eva Long on puremature.com
Jasmin Luv on castingcouch-x.com
Kyler Quinn on holed.com

Holed last updated on the 19th and they've been updating every ten days so the next one should have been today. There's nothing on their Twitter. They are still promoting Kyler Quinn's scene. If they're delayed because of the pandemic, I wish they would say something. Nannyspy.com and myveryfirsttime.com are also in my member sites. One bad thing is that none of the myveryfirsttime scenes have dates on them any more.

One of the changes that's never been explained is the disappearing release dates on scenes. When this first happened I thought it must be some sort of technical issue and the dates would be restored, but that never happened. Newly released scenes would still have dates attached to them though, so I kind of developed this theory that some idiot deleted the table storing all of the dates and they didn't have a backup. But now I'm seeing that it's happened again. This time it seems like for scenes that are more than a few weeks old, they're turning off the release dates. This looks like it's on purpose and not an accident on the back end.

I honestly have no idea why anyone would think this is a good idea. It's like someone sat down and tried to figure out a way to deliberately create a bad user experience.

This company has some very odd ideas about how to run their business. The content is great, but I really wish they would run their sites more professionally.

I'm leaning towards cancelling my membership. I pay yearly because with the platinum upgrade I'm sort of locked in anyway, so yearly makes the most sense. But now they've taken away passion-hd and with the lack of dates on the scenes, it makes it very difficult to collect scenes for my own archive. And yes, I know it's kind of dumb to download scenes and store them, but everyone needs a hobby and this is mine. What sucks though is that the content is consistently good. But there is other good content out there. No shortage at all.

^The most obvious reasons why they would remove the date is that: 1-No one can tell how old the content is. 2-No one can tell the length between updates. 3-They can use older videos as new updates. Now a long term member like you is unlikely to be fooled but many new ones will and they may buy a long term membership even though the site doesn't update as often as they might imply and the content is much older than can be seen from the preview section.

This is exactly the reason why many porn sites remove the dates now and have been for months. To cover up the shortage of new material during this pandemic.

^What other sites are doing this? I have a few memberships and for me, pornpros is the only one doing this. But it would be good to be forewarned about others.

Well, I went ahead and cancelled. At the end of the day, there are just too many issues and it doesn't make sense to be locked into a one-year membership. I may come back in the future - actually would very much like to come back. But at a minimum, they have to get back to a regular update schedule.
