My daughter did striptease (the burlesque sort, not pole dance) when she was at uni. She had no other way to pay her fees (we had too many kids!). She did it with a girlfriend and we, the parents, took turns driving them to the club and picking them up afterwards. Now and again she called to say she would be late and I suspect, but could not be sure, that on some of these occasions she turned a trick. I know that she posed for softcore shoots. I never saw her work and would not want to.

Whatever my daughter did had my support because I trusted her judgement, she was single, and I knew she would be careful with her health. Her being teetotal (booze and drugs) helped. Her mother was less relaxed about it, maybe because she knew more. My daughter is now a health professional, happily married.

My entire family knows what I do... Mom, (step)dad.. my dad before he passed... all my brothes, sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles.. etc.. I told them from day 1. They've never seen my work.. in fact my dad canceled his subscriptions to nudie mags and cable channels after I started to keep from accidentally seeing me. One of my sisters was at a bachelorette party and I popped up on screen. She said she pulled the disc put of the DVD player. lol!

My family is supportive because I live a clean lifestyle, take care of my kids, and am financially responsible. I finished college, (USC) and run my business like, well.. a business. So they are supportive even though they may hve wished for me to do something else.
