Can anyone tell me when this became a fashion trend? Eva Angelina is the latest but Kagney Lynn Carter, Skin Diamond have also shave down the sides of their heads and let the top and bangs cover it but when the hair is pulled back you can see the buzzed hair. Skin and Eva look hot but I'm not into Kagney's cut.
I love the look and I think Kagney Linn Karter (not Lynn Carter) sports it the best. I also love how Eva Angelina looks like it and while I'm not so big on Skin Diamond I also think she looks sexy on it. I hope to see other top girls doing this style and it looks amazing on all three girls you mentioned. I don't want to see every girl in XXX to do it but I think it's a great look, especially for hardbodies like Eva, KLK and Skin Diamond. It would be absolutely crazy to see glamor girls Audrey Bitoni or Priya Rai like this but I'm sure they'd just as soon do a blowbang before they'd do this hairstyle. I forgot to mention her, but I think that Nikki Sexx could also pull this off really nicely. I agree that it might be a bit of a "fad" but this "fad" works for me. KLK has been on fire ever since she's done it so perhaps this is some kind of technique of getting girls to bring out their inner slut. Who knows but I definitely think KLK pulls it of amazingly and I wouldn't mind seeing Brooklyn Lee follow suit as well...

Skin had it first, and when I noticed Kagney got it too I wondered if maybe they did a scene together or something. Haven't seen one yet. . .she did do a scene with Eva though. I think they all look good with it.
As a fan of the bizarre, the head-shaving thing has my full support. It's deeply hilarious to see more and more performers coming down with a shaven head as this thing spreads like the flu. It's like a guessing game to see who will be next. I don't own any movies with head-shaven people, though, and have no plans to start. Because I'm also a fan of big hair. So, how long do you think it will take before ALL performers are bald?

I still don't like it, when Eva Angelina did that I stop watching her for now. Not everybody isn't a big fan of it, people will have there likes and dislikes. Some guys don't like fake boobs, or don't like girls with too many Tattoos. I just don't think that pornstars with shaved side heads isn't cool but it my own opinion. ^Even then, it's kind of obvious one's just being a follower if someone very publicly became successful with an innovative new look that's theirs. In the '90s, everyone was going for 'The Rachel' ('Friends'). Porn's pretty much now got 'The Skin'; I'm not sure if she should be flattered or pissed that everyone's style-jacking her. There's another phenomenon like this going on for most of the last decade: Janine-style tattoo arms are popping up on almost a third of all pornstars it seems. They must have idolized her and wanted to stand out like she did, so they got into porn and all got identical looking arms. Which ironically isn't making them stand out, because everybody's doing it. Tattoo parlors should probably give Lindemulder some kickbacks or something because of all the business she's helped to drum up for them.

^Ultimately, as a look it doesn't bother me that much, because unlike tattoos/tit-jobs, at least the changes aren't more-or-less permanent (it's hair... it grows back). It's just the bandwagon mentality in general that gets on my nerves... in anything. Fads are fads.Had to Google her, but yeah... could possibly have influenced Skin in style (maybe, maybe not... no idea if Cassie's R&B exploits have any kind of profound effect on her really), but regardless, it's unquestionability Skin Diamond that took this look into contemporary porn. A couple of covers like these: Within a few months we get stuff like this: There even looks like there's been some hefty raiding of her jewellery box... Skin may not have been the first woman ever to have the hairstyle (Tank Girl, industrial goths etc.), but I'd say without doubt, she set the trend in contemporary porn.

I think it's spreading to the square world now. I was out having a bite to eat yesterday when a redhead with the one-side buzz sat down at the table right in front of me. I think she may have just come from having it done at the hair salon. As soon as she sat down, she whipped out the iPhone and used the rear facing camera to look at herself while she fiddled around with her hair and struck poses. Very normal, mainstream looking young woman in all other respects, as far as I could see.

I don't like the look anyways, but on KLK, it's crazy. The girl is drop dead gorgeous. She should change nothing about herself.
I love Eva's look now. I love the hair and tattoos and body in general, but i like the looks of girls off the norm. Her scene with Skin in Evalutionary 2 was hot too. ----Dread----
Harri. i hadn't realised it had caught on so much. It will be interesting to see how it changes in the next few years as more people get it done. I have to disagree about klk. I didn't think much of her begfore she had it done.
I can't wait till this fad dies off. There is nothing hot or sexy about a girl shaving the sides or all of her head. It's a total turn off. I like girls looking like girls i.e. having long hair. Once Eva and Kagney started doing it, I took a pass on their scenes. No offence to them, I just can't watch it.
