Very sad news indeed. Any more info appreciated - no harm to Steve, but I hope he'll understand that I'd love to hear this wasn't true. Steve's message is in a thread about Daniella and Lexington Steele. Tough week, what with the floods in Prague too. [Link]

Daniella can't move her legs, as you already know, and only now she's starting to "feel something again". According to the doctors, she will be able to recover the 85% of her functions, but the way to recovery will be very long (at least another six months in the clinic where she is now, a three hrs and half drive from Prague). Recovery in those kind of accidents are usually faster and more effective, especially when docs give more than 80% of recovery chances. Of course, she will have to rest for quite a while, but in the end all will be well. [Link]

I talked to her a couple of weeks ago, and she told me that the doctors are confident on a full recovery within 6-8 months. This, of course, means staying hospitalized and keeping a steady and hard regimen of special exercise. Of all the adult actresses I had the chance to meet over the 20 years I've spent in the business, Daniela struck me for her intelligence, her determination and her commitment. She is not only a generous performer, but most of all an incredible human being, and she truly deserves all the heartfelt attention that her fans have been giving her in this tragic situation. People ask me every day if she will return to the business...well, I don't believe that's one of her main concerns right now. "Sensations" was one of the films I had, "Tit Friction" I think was another maybe with Tina (was it?). In those days of course, there were no Videos or CDs, not to mention DVDs! I wonder how many members on here have ever actually seen Standard 8mm film? Leader film, splicing, film getting burnt in the projector (Eumig P8 I think it was?), rewinders, roll-up screens, the running noise of the projector, bulbs blowing, silent films and so on! Film boxes were hidden in chairs, in the ceiling under the floor, etc. in the few London shops that dared to have them on secret sale! (Digital Media) Dear Sirs, SPECIAL "DOUBLE DVD" CELEBRATION SETS Further to our recent exchange of e-mails regarding "Private" stars Michelle Wild, Rita Faltoyano and Daniella Rush (presently recovering in hospital in the Czech Republic), you will remember saying that you would be good enough to consider and keep in mind my request for Daniella Rush to be included in your "Private Life of ..." Series of famous actresses who were introduced, featured and starred in "Private" movies over the years. I am very glad that Rita's Set is quite imminent and that Michelle's one is coming a little later. You might remember I originally wrote to you on the 25th April 2001 asking for a special DVD Box Set for the gorgeous Czech star Silvia Saint (which later came out under DVD 192, after the first set ever for Hungarian lovely Monique Covet DVD 172). There is an enormous amount of public support and goodwill for Daniella, - just see the extracts from one of the USA Sites, where there have been over three thousand viewings by Members of the "AdultDVDTalk Forum", with which I believe your own company interconnects on occasions. Rita is also very popular on the Forum with some 700 members' visits about this very topic (The Private Life of....) on another page on the same forum. One of the messages about Daniella is from Mr Axel Braun (the son of famous movie maker Lasse Braun), another from Czech star and friend of Daniella's Silvia Saint originally posted up only a few days ago on Silvia's Yahoo Fan Club and subsequently placed onto the USA Site. As you will see, Daniella is so very highly and fondly thought of all around the world, from London to Moscow, USA and Canada. I am asking "Private" to please make the special effort you previously promised to consider. All Daniella's many thousands of fans, I am sure, would love to see a total collection of all her "shorts" along with a re-release of her most famous "Pirate Video De Luxe" movie "The Bride Wore Black" directed by Englishman Frank Thring (who was also Silvia Saint's first director in a "Lee Nover" movie.) plus outtakes, interview perhaps taken at "castings" time. Dear Steph, Balabala, Not long ago, Balabala kindly placed the nice Silvia Saint, Daniella Rush, Laura Angel evening "Party Photo" within the Rita Faltoyano topic for me (as I could not work out how to despatch attachments) and I have re-sent the same file to you both privately and wondered if one of you would be good enough to place it into Daniella Rush's folder. Hopefully, Daniella is continuing to make progress at the hospital with her walking and will be able to resume her medical studies at university later this year. From her e-mail replies, Daniella is clearly a very determined and cheerful young lady despite the adversity of last year. Delightful Daniella has endeared herself to movie makers and fans alike. I see that there have been over three and a quarter thousand member visits for news and messages regarding Daniella. She wrote that she has walked 40m with the use of leg apparatus(i) about two weeks ago. She wants to finish her medical studies, but she must change the type of medicine she wanted to practice due to the injuries. She is a very strong and determined woman. She seems upbeat, although I know that her rehab is extremely exhausting. I don't care about her being in porn again. I just want her to be able to ski again, which shes says is her true love. To, "Private" - Digital Media, Spain (by e-mail 25/2/03) Dear Sirs, Further to my recent letter of the 18th February 2003 and my earlier e-mails of the 28th & 30th January (2), I attach below the current downloaded front page of the popular "AdultDVDTalk" USA Forum, as of today's date (25th). As you will see, to date there have been 3,356 Members' viewings on the Daniella Rush folder and many messages of support from all over the world. It would really be very nice if you were to add your name to the well-wishers in the Forum. You have previously communicated with the Site I believe from time to time to announce new productions, awards, etc. Also, I do hope that you are kindly considering my request to Mr Milton for the special Daniella Rush Double DVD Boxed Set. Obviously, Daniella's first priority is to learn how to walk again and complete her medical studies at university, but I am sure this project could be carried out successfully as a work of love using mainly existing material and outtakes, shorts, etc. and also a re-release of Daniella's most famous movie directed by Frank Thring with perhaps a new interview with Mr Thring, David Perry, etc., speaking about Daniella and the great movies they made together. Maybe, Silvia Saint would join in too, (a message from Silvia, originally posted on Yahoo, is also on the USA Site). There are other messages from fans on Wanda Polak's Site http://forum.wandapolak.com/ Hopefully, you also have a considerable amount of still shots photographic material taken on shoots with Daniella and her co-stars over the years. It would be nice to have an extra thick booklet for Daniella too. As I wrote before, perhaps some of Daniella's friends both behind and in front of the camera would make a contribution to the project. Note that music artist, Elvis Presley died nearly 26 years ago, but there have been hundreds of tracks and discs, boxed sets, etc. issued by clever use of existing material. Just before Xmas, Elvis had his 18th UK No.1 with a re-worked "A Little Less Conversation", - pushing the Fab Four ("The Beatles") into second place for the all time record of No.1 Hits in the U.K. If I lived nearer to you, I would come and offer to do the project myself and work free of charge, having been a "Private" magazine (since 1965) and movie fan for very many years too!
