I'm curious about pornstars who have boyfriends or husbands who are not in the business. I saw an article that said Ryder Skye and Kelly skyline have boyfriends outside the business. Anyone know of any others? Thanks!

Others?
A very small number have boyfriends in the biz. All the rest have boyfriends outside.
If you're looking for a list, it will be a very long one.

Maybe they mean boyfriends that have jobs - a potentially much smaller list.

I run into a lot of female performers who have boyfriends/husbands outside of the business. Unfortunately, the vast majority of them are deadbeat losers living off the sweat of their girls. What's even sadder is the girls continue to support these tools.
Sometimes, though, the guy is just your normal dude who is supportive of his girlfriend or wife, loves being with such a carefree woman but doesn't feel the need to put himself out there.
The latter is less common, though... at least in my experience.

There are some female pornstars who have girlfriends/boifriends & wives outside and inside the business :)
There are also pornstars who have partners who are in the porn business but are not performers. And some who have partners who only perform with them even though they themselves perform with numerous other performers.
It takes all sorts to make a world. And it takes all sorts to make the porn world too.

The non-performing spouses of female pornstars typically fall into one of the following categories:
1. suitcase pimps
Guys who live off their pornstar girlfriends. Typically driving them to/from porn shoots and helping
to carrying suitcase of lingerie and other outfits. They typically don't work at all and often spend
up the girls' money on drugs or material toys before the girl gets fed up and dumps them. Too many
examples to name. Jeanna Fine was famous for having bfs like this. Sandra Romain's husband comes to
mind also.
2. directors and failed performers
Guys that origially used their gf to enter the porn biz as a performer (i.e. she will perform but only
with her bf). At first it works but eventually the guy fails to get it up to often and gets blacklisted.
At that point the gf has to start doing other guys to make money. At this point the bf is reduced to a
suitcase pimp. Most of them eventually can't stand watching their gf get boned by other guys and either
leaves or cheats on her causing her to dump him. Some become "agents" or "directors". Examples are
Red Bone (Rayveness ex-husband), Rob (Dee's ex-husband), Michael Raven (Julia Ann's ex 2003–2007
and Sydnee Steele's ex-husband 1992–2001), and Paul Norman (Tori Wells ex).
3. swingers
Guys that started out swinging with their gfs then progressed to porn. A lot of these guys end up being
failed performers because they cannot perform on camera but they still get thrill watching their gf do
porn and her being a porn star helps him to get other women to fuck offscreen when they go swinging.
Some of these guys are closet gays or bisexuals who really using their wives or gfs to attract men
to watch and possibly entice into homosexual sex. Examples Frank Zee (Ona Zee's ex-husband), Steve
Mason (Janet Mason's husband), and Bud Lee (Hyapatia Lee's ex).
4. bad boys
These are guys who hook up with the women after they have already become recognizable stars.
Because they are recognizable stars its harder to find bfs willing to date or have relationships.
So they often gravitate towards fridge guys who are not "squares" leading normal civilian lives.
Almost always these guys turn out to be wanna-be rockers in a rock band or biker types. Some of these
guys are borderline "suitcase pimps" but they are different in that they do have some type of job
and they don't drive the girl to shoots etc. In their circles being with a pornstar is considered
a plus instead of negative since their lifestyles are not normal anyway. However, most of these guys
are not the long term relationship type and eventually they get bored with the gf and move on. For
some of them they lose respect in their circles if they don't start treating gf like property especially
the biker types. This eventually turns off the girl and she moves on. Some may use the gf to try
and get into porn. Lot of examples of loser unknown rocker types. A couple well known examples would
be Spyder Jonez aka Evan Seinfeld (Tera Patrick's ex) and Sikki Nixx (Jeanna Fine's ex). Other more
famous examples would be Charlie Sheen (Ginger Lynn's ex) and Billy Idol (Savannah's ex).
I think that covers all of them.

Which one are you zambi? :)
BTW a lot of girls in the biz marry their webmaster. So many it's a porn cliché. Being an adult webmaster is hard work. A girl absolutely cannot afford to have a lazy person running her website.

Zambi: While your categories of porn star's boy friends, and their descriptive duties are pretty accurate, you are "dead wrong" to put Michael Raven on the list as an example---Raven was a highly successful and talented director at Wicked Pictures, long before he married Julia Ann, who was a contract star with the company at the time, and both Raven and Julia Ann teamed up to make some of the very best feature porn films ever produced, imho, both before and after their marriage.
AS for Sydnee Steele, another of Wicked's top contract stars, she and Raven came into the business together as a married couple, and also made many "great" films together, primarily for Wicked Pictures, until their divorce, and a little over a year later, Raven married Julia Ann.
Raven is now out of the business, I believe, and married a lady, who was a screen writer for Wicked.------imho, Raven was one of the most talented and visionary adult film directors in the history of the industry, and has a long list of highly-successful films, spanning several years, to prove my point.
So, to put Raven as one of the parasites who lives off of his porn star girl friend, is wayyyy wayyy off, as you can see.

Spouse webmasters are just another form of suitcase pimp or director. For example Belladonna's husband runs her website and later shot her movies or scenes.

Don't see how anything above conflicts with what I said? Raven came into the biz with Sydnee Steele. I believe they were swingers. She was a stripper in Texas before porn I think he was a DJ? Regardless thru her Raven was able to get a gig directing. Never said he was a bad director? In fact in other ADT postings I listed him as one of my favorite directors. He later married Julia Ann but it didn't last long. I remember in some interviews she implied she divorced him because she felt he really didn't care about her. She said something like "I want a guy who cares about me enough that he doesn't want me to do porn".
Regardless there will always be exceptions but I'd say my categories above are dead on for 95% of the non-performing male partners of female pornstars. Let's face it there are NOT a lot of guys willing to let their woman publicly bang other guys (and nowadays escort) while he gets nothing out of it? Most of these guys are using the women for financial support or getting some kind of sexual gratification out of it themselves.

You're clearly just being unnecessarily derogatory towards workers in the adult entertainment business calling a "spouse webmaster" a "suitcase pimp". The Urban Dictionary's definition of suitcase pimp is:

"In the porn industry, a suitcase pimp is an unemployed boyfriend/husband of a porn star who takes care of the details of the star's personal and/or business affairs."
That definition in itself is an absurd contradiction in terms anyway because if he: "takes care of the details of the star's personal and/or business affairs." he is not unemployed, he's her manager. And if he is also her webmaster and the site is doing well he most definitely is not unemployed these days - more like he's working his ass off doing at least 60+ hours a week.

^ First of all its *YOU that is somehow trying to paint my description as "unnecessarily derogatory"?
If anything I would say your description is way too complimentary and sugar coating it. One of my complaints about ADT are people like you who consider any discussion that is not fawning over stars or sugar coating the biz to be derogatory.
Based on your interpretation housewives who don't work outside the home are not considered unemployed? If you are not working a job that pays income you are unemployed. Period. Just like housewives, suitcase pimps are being paid by their working partners to do chores. I'm not saying they are not doing any work at all I'm saying they are financially supported by their partners. If their partners lose their jobs or stop working housewives like suitcase pimps will starve and be homeless. And the level of "skill" they show in doing those chores would not translate to sufficient skills to get a paying job.
So if your "webmaster" bf actually gets paid by others to manage their websites then great he has a real job. But if he only has one customer which is his gf? He's just a suitcase pimp. Lot of pornstars manage their own websites. Its not hard? Just download a CMS program get a hosting account and it does all the work for you? Jeez high school kids have websites. Technically a street pimp who post ads for his girls on craigslist is a webmaster.

I get that feeling sometimes... I don't fancy commenting in particular on any post in this thread as such, but sometimes the fawning and sycophancy I've seen on display over the course of my duration here, has caused me to vomit in my mouth a little.
At the same time, it's kinda good that this place (generally) isn't a hate-filled cesspit like XPT was (or is -- I haven't seen it in a year or two).
It would be ideal if it wasn't choice between either extreme... a generally pleasant mid-ground would be good; one that would be open and welcoming to performers, but not mindlessly gushing, with the option of speaking civilly, but critically on any issue when appropriate.

An idea for a thread topic:
ADT: "Fair and Balanced" or "Only Fanbois Welcome"?

Consider me prejudiced, but...
IMO people who jump into a thread with statements like "ANY woman who doesn't shave their legs is fucking vile" would consider themselves as being on the side of "Fair and Balanced"...
And if you would be criticized for that, you would take it as proof that the critics would be "only fanbois" who are unable to have a frank and honest discussion.
Am I right?
And that's what would make such a thread possibly so unpleasant and fruitless.

No reasonable person would consider the average stay-at-home housewife to be unemployed. And neither would you if you tried swapping places with one for a week.

IMO, I think it's fruitless and frivolous to actually be in a relationship with someone that works in the adult industry, especially a performer. The cons highly outweigh the pros. Most relationships don't last. Most don't even seem happy or healthy. You have to deal with the fact someone you're with is constantly and consistently having sex with someone other than you. There's the many dangers of STI's even though they claim testing is legitimate when we all know that's not the case. There's the many performers that escort which endangers not only the performer themselves but their and partner and fellow performers as well. Why would any sane male or female subjugate themselves to any of that. There are always the rare instances when a relationship does work but that seems more of a one in a million shot of that actually happening. Again, these are just my opinions.
