What's so special about Priya Rai as a performer other than the fact that she's Indian and there have been very few of her ethnicity in porn to this point? Myself and a friend had an interesting talk about all this Priya Rai hype a few nights ago and we came to the conclusion that Priya's plenty pretty. But it's the same standard type of Wicked/Vivid/Digital Playground contract girl beauty we've seen time and time again. To paraphrase said friend, "It's the same Disney crap. Take Cinderella or Ariel from The Little Mermaid, color them brown and you've got Princess Jasmin. Big whoop." And I had to agree. I'm not a racist. I ain't hatin'. But I've seen four or five examples of Priya's work thus far and trust me, she ain't nothing special. I ain't fittin' ta jump on her jock 'cause she's got big tits that happen to be from Bangladesh or wherever. And on top of that, I think the only reason people are even holding her up as "hot" or whatever is because even though she's Indian, she has features that are primarily associated with Caucasians, something that's not uncommon with almost anyone in this country who happens to be so-called "beautiful" but non-white. I think part of Priya's appeal is that she was a softcore model for awhile before getting into porn. So she already had a devoted fan base. Some fans are excited about her move into hardcore. Some aren't. Whatever. I think she's hot. Crucifixio is obviously not on the bandwagon. Whatever. Different strokes for different folks. But he seems to keep posting on this thread.
