In the past 2 days, I've gotten 2 emails from the ADT email system, telling me that there are a lot of viruses attached to my outgoing emails. There is a pif attachment that I'm supposed to read to fix the problem. But when I click on them, my Norton Antivirus program says the pif files have malicious code or viruses, and must be deleted. This morning I got the following message from noreply@adultdvdtalk.com: Hello user of Adultdvdtalk.com e-mail server, Your e-mail account will be disabled because of improper using in next three days, if you are still wishing to use it, please, resign your account information. For more information see the attached file. (the pif file that Norton Antivirus would not let me open) Best wishes,

I would NOT open the attachment. Sounds like you have anti-virus software that has protected you (as do I), but others may not be so lucky. Mike L. Basically, any time you get what appears to be a genuine message asking for you to re-input your data so your account won't be cancelled it is a scam. Some of them are very cleverly done and really do appear to come from a reputable source, but the scammers are just getting better at it. You have Norton, but I would also suggest getting and trying Ad-aware and SpyBot programs (free downloads) and run them on your system. You'll probably find quite a bit of stuff on your system that really shouldn't be there.
