When I first started using XRentDVD I was very impressed with their customer service.

As a new customer I became a bit confused about their various plan offerings and my e-mails to customer service were answered promptly and obviously by a person. They got me straightened out quickly.

Since that first small bump in the raod I've been very pleased with their prices, prompt shipping, etc.

Last week (02/09) I had a problem with what appeared to be a listing error and sent an e-mail to customer service expecting the usual prompt reply from someone in that department.

I got back an 'sutomated' reply that directed me to a URL on the web site along with an explanation that stated -

"We have automated our website so that you may report problematic DVD's. Please visit the 'Problem Title Page' to process your request."

Surprised me. What happened to the person in customer service?

Anyway, I went to the 'Problem Title Page' and filled out the form. Waited for a reply. Nothing.

So, today (02/13) I sent an e-mail to customer service and said I hadn't heard from them regarding my problem.

Just received this automated response to my e-mail -

"We have automated our website so that you may report problematic DVD's. Please visit the 'Problem Title Page' to process your request."

Is this a 'Catch 22" situation or a "Pass the Buck" routine?

What I do know is that XRentDVD customer service has taken a turn for the worst.

Sounds like one of those times where a new system was tested by the programmer and then put into production with 'just a few minor changes that won't affect the code.' Yeah, heard that one before.

Robert,

Your post doesn't give a lot to go on so I am unable to look things up for you. Feel free to email webmaster@xrentdvd.com if you are not getting what you need from Customer Service.

As long as your email included all the needed information, a Customer Service representative is supposed to enter the problem for you. Otherwise, they will point you to the web form. The most common problem is that the email address someone used to sign-up for an account is not the same as the one emailed from and so we have no way to find the proper account.

Hopefully your issue can be resolved promptly.

Same e-mail address that I use on this forum
Did that and got a auto-reply.
Had order # from which the DVD came, had title of DVD and reference to page listing. That's all I know. What else do you need?
Same e-mail for sign-up, same one I e-mailed from and same e-mail I use on this forum

Here is the entire text of the message I sent - twice!

First I want to say that I have been VERY pleased with your service since I signed up.

I particularly like your Advanced Search feature and the fact that when I put together an order, your program tells me that I have already ordered a particular title.

Now for the bad news.

I received order # 219745-0010 <http://www.xrentdvd.com/OrderDetailedHistoryPage.html?orderHdrNo=471728> two days ago (your order shipping service is great also). One of the titles I ordered was "High Strung" and I received a DVD with that label. However, the content was a series of scenes depicting bondage. There was no resemblance to the scenes on the DVD to the front and back cover art that was displayed on the web page for that DVD title.

I selected (ordered) that DVD based on the category (Classic) and the illustrations of the cover art. I would classify the DVD content I received as Fetish and/or Bondage. Something that I would never order.

Is this listing an error? I checked and that title is only listed once.

Robert,

The CS representative that helped with all of your emails did not follow policy. The title in question has now been removed from our site as this is the second disc with a DVD pressing error. My apologies that it has taken this much effort to resolve your issue. You should have an email detailing the store credit added to your account. I have gone ahead and doubled the amount for your trouble.

My postive opinion of XRentDVD as been restored!

These guys are truly customer service oriented and offer great value.

I don't have a lot of experience dealing with AdultDVD merchants, but I doubt one could find a better one than XRentDVD.

It's a pleasure doing business with them.

Robert
