Seriously, it really is a great idea but whoever does it needs to make sure that if the "winner" ends up having no clue as to what needs to be shot, a pro should be on the sidelines to salvage a potential disaster.

(Basically, the HBO series gives an amateur film maker a chance to make a low-budget movie after being selected in a contest.) I guess it would be more about giving a regular Joe a chance to direct his (or her!) own porno using the popular porn stars (and not really the process of making the movie like Greenlight shows.) As for a porn version, it could be very interesting. I would think that a search rather than a lottery would be better. There's a lot of psychos out there that it wouldn't be a good idea to have them on a porn set, let alone pseudo-controlling it. This could be an interesting process, with contestants bringing forth their ideas, etc. Overall, I see it as a chance to bring new ideas, thinking outside of the box, different attitude to porn.
