I've stated many times before that I'm not a fan of anal prolapse.
Just watched the trailer for pussy acrobats 2, and it made me really uncomfortable.
I think it's very hot seing girls cram a lot of cocks, dildos, fists in their pussy (same with anal) but with their orifices remaining healthy and normal.
but seeing girls getting their pussies totally wrecked pumped inside out, the vaginal valls prolapsing out of the vagina is for me way too much.
Where will it end really? Vaginal and anal prolapse is really serious medical conditions that cause lots of suffering for the ones who have it.
Sure people can say that us who don't like don't have to watch it, but as consumers we still have some sort of social responsibilty for the girls (just as in not buying goods produced under inhumane conditions for the workers, not buying leather/feather products when the animal has been skinned alive) just as two comparisons.
It's kinda sad that all this prolapsing could result in female performers wind up being urinary and fecally incontient for their rest of their lifes for porn consumers sexual enjoyment :(

^Prolapsing is far from common in porn, and if the trailer for Pussy Acrobats 2 made you uncomfortable then there's a simple solution: don't buy the movie.

I totally get what you are saying.
But as long as consumers buy those kinds of movies, the incentive to make prolapsing scenes will increase/continue, to take an example people don't wear fur because they fear that the animals have gotten hurt skinned alive etc.. just as not buying movies that includes psychical damage on the female performers would mean less of those kinds of movies.

^Meanwhile, prolapsing is not a major trend in porn, and when it does occur during shooting it's more likely to be edited out than left in.

I agree with OP. "Don't like it don't watch" is not justification for everything, you gotta draw the line somewhere.

I am actually surprised so many people are quiet about this.
Something described as a medical emergency that can require surgery, is being done purposely in porn, and the best arguments people can come up with is "don't buy, don't watch", "it is not a big trend". Can you imagine if we applied that rule to all matters?

Nobody is making nobody prolapse by force. Performers do it on their own free will.
I don't understand how can one argue against free will?!? It's one's life, one's body, nobody but oneself should have a say in what they do with them.

Prolapses occur in real life from things physical trauma like long term constipation, childbirth etc. (it's really psychical damage to the body)
But ofcourse really rough sex, fisting, pumping the vagina and rectum inside out has the same damaging effect and risk of incontinence.
That the female performers do those extremes is probably because of financial incentive and not really thinking 5-10 years from now.
Of course performers are free to choose to do such scenes or not, but if the demand for more and more extreme acts goes up the performers have to push themselves further and further to remain popular with the risk of psychical damage and incontinence that usually is very handicapping for those who suffer from it and causes a great deal of long-term suffering and surgery that sadly isn't always succesful.

And it's a matter of protecting performers from themselves. Acting like it's solely in their own hands is a mistake. The fact of the matter is that this is being sought out by producers and they encourage it, as 'niche' as it may be. The industry should instead discourage these type of damaging and dangerous acts, and if the only negative thing about that is that a small minority of consumers will be upset then so what? Is that more important than the health and longevity of performers that we love? I don't think so.

"It's a matter of protecting performers from themselves"? Really? That's a slippery slope indeed!
I'm glad to see that you hate freedom and individual choice. I trust that these professionals know their own bodies better than you do.

^"Know their own bodies" LOL you're telling me they can predict what type of health problems this act will give them years down the line, long after they get paid to injure themselves so that YOU can jerk off to it? You're just selfish and I'm glad to see that you're willing to put words into my mouth so that you can justify yourself. So far the arguments from the other side are terrible and I would like to see where exactly they draw the line when it comes to dangerous porn acts.

If you most often find it extreme why do you keep coming back? Do you like his tranny stuff? I don't, so you know what I do? Yeah, you guessed it, I ignore it completely because I'm not gay, it's easy, I actually detest the thought of gay porn but I'm not gonna make a thread about it because it doesn't affect me. So what I wanna know is how does girls happily showing off their prolapsed rectums bother you? I mean it sounds like you're not even a member of EA...weird guy.

^Lol you are reaching so much. Instead of telling me that I don't have the information(I guess reading medical facts about it on websites is not enough, you want me to be a practising licensed doctor untill I can speak on this?) why don't you tell me how these type of acts are not damaging these people? Lets see if you do have the information.
And please don't turn this into a gender issue, it has nothing to do with it and I shouldn't even respond to a comment like that since i know what you're trying to do here.

It's best not to get too paternalistic about the mental and physical damage that porn stars might suffer long term, as it can destroy the quality of the wanking experience, and maybe even force one to find a real girl and a real relationship, no easy task. Porn stars are at the age when they feel invulnerable to risk, the more extreme you go the more attention (and money). I wonder if any ask their doctors what the consequences of voluntary anal prolapsing might be.

Well if you can predict what type of health problems that act will give them years down the line, long after they got paid to injure themselves, (and you seem pretty confident in your ability to do so) then yes, I think they absolutely can predict what type of health problems that act will give them years down the line, long after they got paid to injure themselves.
I have to admit I'm curious what train of thought lead you to believe that you can predict someone's future but they can't. Do you have special powers or are you just assuming that you're the only one with access to wikipedia?
To everyone else: I'm just glad Jay Sin shows girls responsibly cramming lollipops and gummy bears in their nether regions, instead of their mouths. Eating that much sugar could lead to diabetes which is a much more serious health risk.
As noted several time already, the behavior objected to in this thread is pretty easy to avoid. Only a few director/performer combos do it. But any porn outside of solo (and I suppose some quasi-sexual fetish stuff) carries certain health risks. If you were genuinely worried about performers health, you wouldn't watch hardcore porn. What you're doing though is rationalizing the health risks associated with what you like in order to watch it with a clean conscience. Many people that like the prolapsing stuff do the same thing. The only difference between you and them is they like different kink than you do.
Porn is a huge gray area when it comes to morality, and we're certainly not going to solve any morality issues on a porn message board so I never really understood the point of people moral-grandstanding on here except to try and justify whatever it is they want to watch and condemn those that don't go along with it.
I'm off to go start a petition to prevent pornstars from skydiving (for pretty obvious reasons) Who's with me?!?

I try to KEEP THINGS IN PERSPECTIVE:
• By virtue of owning a twat I fall WAYYYY out-of-range of the target audience, the material was not intended for my consumption. I would not actively seek it out, but have viewed scenes/films in which it occurs, the unfortunate consequence of watching far too much porn. And it does absolutely nothing for me, in fact has the opposite effect, causing me to lose wood.
• Given previous, my opinions & concerns arent necessary, requested, helpful, valid, relevant or even wanted. Sorry to sound assholic. But anything said would be formed in a biased situation... SHOCKED? if its minimalist, negative/argumentative in tone, light on detail, and heavvvvvvvy on morals/ideals. You know the saying "opinions are like assholes, everyones got one"...if you cant improve the silence say nothing at all.
...Definitely NOT rare, growing increasingly common over the past year...so common in fact I recently noticed the addition of a new category on a streaming-video site: 'PROLAPSE' (and no it wasnt some underground snuff-porn typa site). I had never heard of prolapse happening outside a barn til recently so it kinna gives me a weirded-out vibe the same way someone fucking a sheep would.
...Id be concerned if my bum looked like that, but I smoke clove cigarettes so am I really one to ask "how can you do that to your health?" ... what you do in "your bed" is your business, not mine (except in the event "your bed" is a place normally referred to as "my bed").

The problem with a bunch of Wikipedia MDs giving out medical advice is that it is often wrong. For starters, porn terminology and medical terminology don't always overlap. I know that's shocking to some but porn doesn't always properly use clinical terms. So hypothetically speaking, if what is described in a porno as a rectal prolapse, isn't what the medical field describes as a rectal prolapse, (or hypothetically if the degree of the prolapse was significantly different from the medical description) then when some Wikipedia MD goes googling to find out what horrors await someone with a prolapsed rectum, they are actually (hypothetically of course) looking for something significantly different.
So let's say there was a difference between a partially prolapsed rectum (what is typically seen in porn) and a complete prolapsed rectum (what people seem to be referencing when they rant about all of the awful things that can be side effects, and how surgery is required and things like that, and generally only seen from a very, very small group of performers like Dirty Garden Girl and one other European performer whose name escapes me at the moment) just googling prolapsed rectum without having any other knowledge to work with can result in getting a great deal of misinformation.
So while you don't necessarily need an MD to know what you're talking about, you should know what you're talking about and it would appear that many folks here don't necessarily fall into that group.

Yes it is, and unless the major studios give up their concerns about being charged with obscenity it will stay that way. Prolapsing in porn is a bit more common than it was previously, but it's still far from mainstream.

Ahh thanks ♥
...to say something is "not rare" is not the same as saying its "common"... and in no way did i imply or directly refer to it being "mainstream".
NOT RARE: If the topic "prolapse" was presented to a group and the most meaningful response was a quoting of Webster's Dictionary, having none or few who know enough to reply, likely because ITS RARE. In contrast, this group [thread's previous contributors], not all of which obtained knowledge via job-experience, had enough understanding to carry a discussion, likely because ITS NOT RARE, despite being uncommon.
Example: Try that with MESSY BLOW and see how that turns out (Im confident in this group's ability to hang) but a Cosmo Sex Editor had to quote UrbanDictionary, as a SOURCE! A "Professional" in topics of sex had zero in the totality of life, experience or career, to not once ever heard read seen watched viewed witnessed performed encountered or been a part of... that was some serious fucking rock she was under =p
How rare something is might be illustrated in how much/how fast one can acquire porn related to the topic. Example: FURRIES, makes prolapse look mainstream as missionary. Furry porn is RARE, prolapse porn is UNCOMMON.
MAINSTREAM: I personally wouldnt consider it "mainstream" until it begins to appear among the commonly agreed upon "best" in some context or form. ie. AVN Nominee titles containing the word "prolapse", a winner in a category like Best Anal being a film nothing-but-prolapse...the aforementioned "messy blow" has been regularly part of AVN nominee films the past few years... it might be considered somewhat mainstream.
Recap: Messy blow is mainstream...Prolapse is uncommon...Furries are rare!

I didn't predict the exact medical conditions they can get in the future, me and others simply pointed out that there is medical evidence to suggest that this kind of behavior may lead to those problems eventually. And anybody with logic and without an agenda(Aka non prolapse lovers) would find that a valid concern, but you guys ignore it(I would still love to hear from you guys how this is NOT going to affect them)
Secondly, Yes the porn that I watch has risks too, but you don't recognize different degrees of severity? I mean would you put potential "urinary and fecally incontinence for their rest of their lives" at the same level as say, herpes or other STD's(not HIV) that can generally be treated easily with modern medicine? Your argument there fails, it fails horribly. The average pornstar does mostly regular vaginal and some anal in her career and then can live a good quality of life after retiring.
One more thing I want to ask to prolapse fans, where do you draw the line with your arguments? How about scat, the kind where they actually swallow the stuff. Free will, no harm done? Don't like it don't watch it etc?

I don't care if you predicted the exact medical conditions or not. In a conversation about whether they have the right to perform whatever (legal) acts they want and if they need "protection from themselves" you implied that the performers lack the ability to know the consequences of what they are doing which is utterly false.
Yes, of course there are degrees of severity, but my point is those degrees don't matter because pretty much without fail, people on here draw their line in the sand where their preferences end, not where something gets so bad that they fear for the performers safety. The degrees of severity are just a convenient way to try and frame it so that it doesn't look like "I don't like this thing that other people do and I want to get rid of it." It's faux-moral-outrage. It's no coincidence that everyone on here that finds prolapsing dangerous also finds it disgusting. Of course if they just claim it's disgusting, then they realize they'll look like puritans on here, so instead they come up with some glorified OSHA complaint.
But thanks for telling me that my argument fails horribly after you bring up HIV, and then dismiss it for absolutely no reason other than it is contrary to the point you're trying to make because your point just failed spectacularly. Oh and plenty of other things can lead to incontinence too... repeated penetrations with large objects, can lead to incontinence as well. Oh and according to some, plain old vanilla anal sex (even with average sized dicks) can eventually lead to incontinence problems down the road. So unless you're suggesting straight porn turn into condom-wrapped penis in vagina with no facial/creampie then your point fails in such amazing fashion that it should have its own wing in the museum of failure.
You're aware of the health risks involved in fecal-mouth contact right? You know what Hep-C is right? And I suppose if I start looking at the numerous A2M threads, and the dirty A2M threads, and the rimming threads on here I can find you expressing the same level of concern for the performers that do those acts, and the same level of moral outrage over people performing those acts, right?
Well, I'm not a fan of prolapsing (nor do I find it particularly offensive) but I have no issue with people partaking scat porn either (which I do find disgusting... and just as easy to avoid) Yes, freewill. Yes, don't like it don't watch it. Same for anything else you're going to suggest that involves consenting adults.

Actually you do care because you kept whining about wanting proof and for me to explain exactly what medical conditions they'd get from this, not even realising your own hypocrisy and there it is again, you ignore explaining how they're NOT at risk. As for my earlier statement you're putting words into my mouth again, you'd be a millionaire by now if that was an actual profession.
Yes I do care about their safety and health, one of those reasons may be selfish(staying healthy so they can make more porn which is good for them too) but I have no problems admitting anything. I couldn't care less if you don't believe me, gaining your trust is one of the last things I'm gonna put effort into, pal.
There are tons and tons of acts in porn that I do not like, yet I would never say that they should be removed from the business because 1-They're not dangerous to that level or not dangerous at all and 2-Or Not worth it to please a select few fetishists. Would you like a list of that from me? Another one of your points fails in spectacular fahsion.
I thought you said degrees of severity mattered to you? Now you are comparing the risk of contracting HIV from doing porn, to the possibility of developing health problems due to repeated extreme prolapse acts? LOL. I am starting to laugh now, I doubt you can get that out of me again.
Hahaha, I was wrong. You did it again!

I believe you are mistaken. I never whined about anything and I've never requested proof from you about anything. I simply pointed out the fault in your "they don't know what they're doing" logic.
I acknowldge their is a risk to their health. I didn't bring it up because it seemed unnecessary since it a) didn't have anything to do with my point and b) was something that we agreed on.
But if you want to argue about stuff we agree on I guess we can do that too.
Do you care about the health and safety of people that perform A2M? What about dirty A2M? What about rimming? Because from where I stand it sure does look like you've drawn your moral line in the sand exactly where your preferences end.
Again, I'm going to refer you to your posting history regarding A2M, dirty A2M and rimming, and then make my point again that the issue here is how objectionable you find "prolapsing" outside of any inherent health risks, not how much you don't like it because of any inherent health risks.
Your prolific participation in threads pertaining to the subjects I just mentioned (I'd venture a guess around 25% of your entire posting history) is on threads talking about those topics and thus far I've yet to find a single mention of health objections.
So you can cry OSHA all you want but it's pretty clear that performer health and safety is a red herring.
If you don't like it, that's fine. No one is suggesting that you should, but don't try to pass of some disingenuous health and safety excuse as the reason because it clearly is not.
Lemme double check...
Swing-and-a-miss.
Actually I wasn't comparing the risks, I was comparing the consequences.

Where is the fault? Can you explain to me how they would be able to know that this kind of abuse won't lead to future problems like I asked? I have seen one of them comment on it, Roxy Raye in particular i think it was. She said "My body is able to heal from this". She didn't go into detail beyond this and she's like the main attraction in this niche. Sounds to me like the thought pattern here is "It's not hurting me at this moment so it must be fine". Show me more examples if you have proof. No, I don't believe every girl who is doing or going into the prolapse stuff knows exactly what she is getting into, and you've failed to convince me otherwise. Actually you've failed with every argument you've had so far.
Dude are you trolling me now? Seriously, you just skimmed through the threads I posted in and came to the conclusion that I must be totally into all of that? LOL. Do you realise I posted in the dirty A2m threads to probably say similar things I said in this thread. I find that act disgusting and dangerous, genius. I don't care about A2m and yes i like rimming which is all about cleaning properly which should be easy for any professional, and yes I believe they all should be very thorough in that. And I hope you didn't just compare the risks of rimming a cleaned ass to gaping your sphinter several inches wide and pulling the insides out of it.
Now, maybe I should skim through your threads. Maybe you posted in the Christy Mack-War Machine threads to defend Christy Mack, and since I skimmed through it I could just assume that you're into beating up women. That's essentially what you did.
Learn to ask questions. Stop implying or assuming what I'm into to make me look a certain way just to win the argument. If you asked I would gladly tell you what I'm into. It's mostly G/G porn, G/G & F/G rimming, certain positions in vaginal and some anal. That's pretty much what I'm into, and there's actually very few things I'm against in porn. Scat and prolapse are two of them. There are things I find almost as disgusting as those acts but they're nowhere near as dangerous so I do not want to see them gone from porn.
If you're gonna cling on to the same shot down arguments then it may be time to end this. I mean you've started to reach so far that you had to lie about my stance in the particular threads I posted in. The only being dishonest is you. I have nothing to hide or care to gain your trust Like I said.
You said I dismissed HIV as a risk. Tell me again how likely it is to get HIV from porn? And here's your take on prolapse: "I acknowldge their is a risk to their health."

You're claiming these performers are or have been injuring themselves and that simply isn't true. There is a difference between doing something that can (but not necessarily will) lead to long term injury and something that is actually damaging to the body inherently. Most of what makes it into mainstream porn and is labeled as prolapsing barely qualifies under the medical definition and isn't of the variety that will inherently cause long term damage. The only exception to that I can think of is Dirty Garden Girl in Anal Acrobats. She has a fully prolapsed rectum that is likely indicative of some internal tissue trauma and would probably need surgery to correct. (and incidentally is pretty gross)
A very minorly prolapsed rectum (as in most "rosebuds" seen in mainstream porn that are labeled as prolapses) don't necessarily indicate any damage at all. It could be damaged but the act flexing one's rectal muscles isn't doing any damage at all. The prolapse is a symptom, not the cause of any problems.
I never claimed that any abuse won't lead to medical problems down the road (nice strawman though) but you do continue to make statements as if any sort of abuse will lead to future problems, and there is definitely no proof of that.
Who said that every girl knows exactly what she's getting into? Strawman much? They all do have access to the same information that we do so they can predict it as well as you can.
Actually I just looked at your posting history and you participated in several threads about those topics. I then clicked on several posts in several of those threads to see what you were actually discussing. I didn't just guess.
You do realize that I already read the posts on there and like I already said, you made had no complaints about the health and safety of the performers.
It's all about cleaning properly? With someone else's tongue? I was unaware that is how one should properly clean one's anal sphincter. Sarcasm aside, suggesting that rimming is all about cleaning one's anus properly is like suggesting that cunnilingus is all about cleaning one's vagina properly. You may find it more appealing when one has a pristine looking balloon knot, but that doesn't mean the act is without risk. There are tons of infections (some quite serious) that can be spread through fecal-oral contact and "proper cleaning" is no guarantee that those infections won't be transmitted.
Again I was comparing consequences, but if you want to talk risks, perhaps you could share some clinical data with us and let us know what the risks ( in terms of likelihood) are.
Skim away. I'm confident in the conclusions I drew based on several posts (if not all posts) you made in each of the threads I looked at. At no point in those threads that I examined did you ever raise an objection to the health concerns of the performers.
Okay... tell me what I lied about with regards to your posting history. Show me where you were voicing health concerns for performers engaging in risky behavior (especially behavior that you happen to like) and I'll be happy to withdraw my comments and offer a sincere apology. If you can't it would be nice if you could offer to withdraw your libelous statement, but realistically I know that's probably asking too much.
Hang on.... lemme check...
Nope. No mention of risk there. Try again.
Right after you tell me how likely it is to suffer incontinence from anal prolapsing in porn. If you're going to insist we talk about which is more or less likely, then show me the data.

^We can go the "he said she said" all night long but I just realised why you didn't answer me questioning you being a troll. Below I found the thread where I discussed dirty a2m and I showed my disgust for it:
https://forum.adultdvdtalk.com/when-will-dirty-ass-to-mouth-become-normal-in-porn#post
"No it won't. There are some things that could simply never become part of the norm because of how people are brought up and feel about it instinctively. Anything involving scat is part of it, vomit too for example. When I see dirty ass to mouth in a scene(disgraceful if it hasn't been cut out of the final product that doesn't warn you for this) I have to make myself believe that's it's some left over enema otherwise I get too sick to my stomach. Regardless, that would be the end of that scene for me. Forever."
^Those were my statements, and yet in this thread you lied and tried to claim that I'm actually into dirty a2m. You just exposed yourself with that one, but you did get me going for a while. But I see you also almost got permanently banned recently by a mod too. Your trolling worked this time, pal.

You play the "health and safety" card when it is convenient for you, not when it is helpful to the performers. Conversely you ignore it when it is inconvenient for you.
This isn't about health and safety of performers no matter how much you want to rant about it. You clearly haven't shown any concern over performers' health and safety in any other threads that revolve around risky behavior. I don't really care if you like dirty ATM or not. You still didn't show any concern over anyone's health and safety in that thread.

Just to clarify my point of view, I am not into prolapsing, but that is not the reason I am participating in this discussion. My intention is not bash other people for what they like and act like I am morally superior to them because they like something I find disgusting, don't make assumptions, Murdoch. There are so many things that don't interest me in porn, gang-bangs, solo, g/g, fisting, bondage... and I could go on. The difference between all those sex acts and prolapsing is that none of them is described on its own as a medical condition, do they carry some risks? Of course they do, but they are not described as medical conditions.
You also dwell in this hypothetical theory of the difference between prolapsing in porn and prolapsing in medical terms. The images I have seen on non-porn sites look exactly like the ones on porn sites. Your argument "porn prolapse and medical prolapse are different" just does not work, sorry. As far as I know, it is the same thing, or at least they are close enough that, whoever names what porn genres are called decided to use the medical term for the porn genres.

My sincerest apologies, I know you were making a generalized point and the technicalities of Hepatitis-C doesnt change the basis of your argument, I think you meant to reference HEPATITIS-A. Unfortunately Im fanatical for the ongoing education and prevention of Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) ... and had my grandmother die from Hep-C she acquired as a consequence of lifelong heroine use...
HEPATITIS-A - fecal-oral contamination, highly contagious, transmitted through contaminated food or water, or by person-to-person direct fecal-oral exposure.
HEPATITIS-B - blood semen and other body fluids, ... sexual contact, shared needle use, child birth.
HEPATITIS-C - blood ONLY, transmitted through the sharing of needles.

Hey we all can use our common sense to know what a girl will go through 10 years down the road after a long term prolapsing porn career and as she ages. There will be "issues".
But you know what, it is their bodies and their way to earn money and most of all their sexual thrill. Athletes wake up after 10 years of playing sports with all sorts of injury issues that affect them for the rest of their life. Some say it was worth it and some regret it.
When some of the prolapsing queens are in their 40s and putting tampons in their asses so they dont leak into their clothing, or need an operation, some will say it was worth it for the money and the sexual thrill of it all, some will say they regret it.
In other words, let them do what they want. If you don't like it, don't pay for it. If you don't like knowing your favorite NFL player may get dementia at 55 years old, the stop watching football. If you don't like the knowledge of what a girl potentially will go through 10 years down the road due to extreme prolapsing, then don't support the product.
Crying about how much you hate watching it doesn't really make a difference. People smoke a pack a day knowing they will shave an average of at least a decade from their life, people make the choice.
Porn, like any career that involves physical demands on your body, is no secret. Everyone knows the risks and potential long term issues, and they can chose the career or not; just like an athlete. It is a physical career that potentially leaves you with life long changes to your body, if it is worth it to you, then go for it!

Nothing in my reply to you suggested otherwise. Don't take offense to comments that weren't directed at you.
There is nothing special about being described as a medical condition. A runny nose (Rhinorrhea) is a medical condition. That doesn't mean that having a runny nose has any inherent health risks. Like a runny nose, a prolapsed rectum is a symptom, not the actual problem.
It isn't a hypothetical difference. If you want to see what a fully prolapsed rectum looks like, do a google image search for Dirty Garden Girl. That thing is a fully prolapsed rectum (which is the condition that is associated with actual internal damage)
Well if by non-porn sites you mean The Chive then I don't think your argument holds much water. Look on medical sites for fully prolapsed rectum or complete rectal prolapse. You'll hardly ever see anything that resembles what appears in anything released from mainstream porn studios. (only exception I've ever found was the scene noted above with Dirty Garden Girl. There may be others, but not many)
Some is, some isn't. I've seen "gaping" anal where nothing is actually prolapsed labeled as a prolapse. Generally anytime you can clearly see the mucous membrane it is considered a prolapse whether or not is actually prolapsed or not.
That said the vast majority of what is released from mainstream studios either isn't an actual prolapse or is an incomplete prolapse with no displacement of the sphincter muscle which isn't medically associated with the same types of serious complications with that of a full prolapse.
Not all prolapses are created equally (see the ICD 9 or 10 codes for verification) so they shouldn't all be treated equally. Again, this is why people that are just looking up stuff on Wikipedia or WebMD aren't necessarily contributing anything useful to the discussion.
If we were talking about bone fractures I could say that bone fractures could result in death (say for example a broken rib puncturing a lung) and I'd be right, but if we were talking about stress fractures in someone's foot, then jumping in and saying they could die from it isn't accurate or useful. So if you don't know the difference between a stress fracture and an oblique fracture, you probably shouldn't be weighing in (medically) on a discussion about bone fractures. If you don't know the difference between a partial prolapse with no displacement of the anal sphincter muscle, and a complete prolapse with full displacement of the sphincter muscle (and what complications are associated with each) then you probably shouldn't be weighing in (medically) on a discussion about prolapses.

Bonnie Rotten is a good example of prolapsing in current active popular mainstream media on the regular...her popularity and the social awareness of who she is such that she has been on TMZ... She did an interview on Orgasmatrix in which talks about her prolapse, see below:
During the last years we’ve noticed an increase of rosebud and anal prolapse scenes. Is this due the public’s demand? Do you find these scenes exciting?
Bonnie: "Actually I don’t really like when I do it, to be honest, but I know that a lot of fans love it and it’s not something I can exactly help, so I’ve learnt to embrace the situation rather than be grossed out."
They say that this kind of action, if practised regularly, provoke anal incontinence and doom you wear diapers or visit a surgeon. As a specialist in anal action, we would like know more about this. Does this worry you?
Bonnie: "It does worry me a little bit. That kind of cycle is not exactly regular anymore because I fuck so much in the ass, and I clean so much and I do so much. It is hard, it definitely it is."

I love it when females prolapse their anuses in porn and will continue to support it. However, it is up to the actress as to whether or not she wants to go through with it.

I'll be honest, the first time I saw this in a movie (and, to date, I've seen it precisely once in a viewing career spanning hundreds of flicks) I didn't really understand what it was, in fact, I wondered what the fuck was going on. It's a bit like a road traffic accident, though - you don't really want to look but you somehow can't help yourself.

It's a gross thing to watch. I saw a video, this girl's ass gapped so wide you could drive a bus through it.
Then other things happened which we cannot mention on this family website.

Thanks for posting that. That is exactly the problems I speculated about earlier. She does not like it(when being honest like in this interview). She does it for the FANS who like it, and she does not sound like she knows exactly what she is doing to herself. All regular arguments shot down.
Secondly she mentions that she does worry about it and that it is becoming very difficult for her.
These statements from probably the most popular star who does this stuff doesn't exactly bode well for the prolapse fetishists. This interview makes them look selfish and it doesn't help when there is a blatant troll in this thread either.
